Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess, Parks and Recreation) stars in this contemporary Australian detective drama as retired cop Alexa Crowe. With her old boss (Bernard Curry, Once Upon a Time) regularly asking for her insight on cold cases and a young police data-analyst (Ebony Vagulans) eager to be mentored-whether Alexa wants to or not-Alexa can’t seem to stop solving crime.

Excellent choice. Lucy is a perfect cast match for that kind of police/detective role. Never understood why it didn't happen before, but eh. Better late, than never. :P

I had no idea this was coming out! Love Lucy Lawless and I always thought she looked a lot like Miss Fisher! Now she's starring in her own murder mystery show :)

I bought season 1..I love it! Lucy and the whole cast are wonderful! Alexa, Madison and Kieran are like the three musketeers. Congratulations on a great show! Can't wait to see what season 2 brings 😃.

@@morphinpug I figured most wouldn't notice til I mentioned it cuz it's so faint. Lucy wouldn't do any role with out hints of Xena in it. She said so herself in an interview. Everything she's done since then has had Xena in it in some aspect. Pretty cool!

America use to have a lot of shows with grown people in series .Now its clear they have perverted their obsession with youth shows nowadays behind the scenes has been exposed yet they still discriminate against older women in the showbiz by going after peoples kids to make a profit and use these kids out . Hollywood producer folkk theyre some nasty fiends

Pourquoi la série n'est pas encore en français en dvd ? J'ai pu regarder les 2 saisons en vf en streaming et j'ai adoré Les enquêtes sont originales et souvent drôles.

Quite a light hearted fun show, it would be worth watching if the music wasn't so bad - It's not about you in Episode four is just about the most annoying 'song' I have ever heard. Did I actually write 'song' I should have said NOISE.

Ha ha! Lucy is just lucky in her gene pool. Her mom was gorgeous too. She ages so beautifully. Swears she's had no work done just takes care of her skin and such. And those eyes will never change!

I watched two episodes, the first was bad the second was total bullshit! This Like Xena is a show for the unthinking, unreasoning but at lease Xena was fun. If you use common sense and reasoning which few do anymore (that is why this claptrap has a season 2 starting soon???!!!) you will be bored and feel disgusted with the show, most of the issues is with the writing.
