i want to thank you for what you do, you built my foundation for guitar back in 2011. you explain everything so well anyone could understand it, you have the camera angles on point and take everything at a perfect tempo 10/10 guitar teacher
I just realized how long I've been watching and learning from you. Back when I started neither of us had so much grey in our beards! Cool lesson Marty, I always love it when you teach the blues.
Marty, thanks for this. Having a repertoire of cool turnarounds (and similar licks) is part of that “special sauce” that helps players take their blues expressions from ordinary to being able to impact the listener’s soul. It’s all very powerful stuff and we’re lucky to have a master like you to share and inspire us!
Just signed up for the newsletter and I’m starting a 3 hour blues lesson thanks Marty you are the best you make me happy everyday and are better than my real life guitar teacher
Marty ! I’ve been a fan for a long long time and you’ve helped me get so much better at guitar. Please please please do a lesson on Good Times Bad Times by The Rolling Stones I’m dying to learn that tune but no one has a good tutorial on it :( thanks for everything bud. Keep doing what you’re doing
Thanks so much for the time you put into this so people like me can learn and become better at guitar. Without your beginner videos I woulda givvin up. You have also helped a lot financialy because when you make good videos it means I don't have to pay for a tutor. Thank you☺
Marty! It's been a decade that I've been learning music from you (one channel or another). Thank you for being around! I am 27 now and play decent :) Do you have an Instagram account also to follow? Keep rocking it..here is to another 10 !
Great video marty i just started learning blues guitar. And thanks to you, you make it really fun and enjoyable. And nice 12 string guitar it's beautiful
Another great video !!! The beginning, where you are playing the 2nd and 4th frets back and forth , no frills in this video, is there a video of different ways to play that?
Awesome video man! I wondered if you could finish the Eric Clapton - Layla - Unplugged solo. You made a part one in Guitar Jams a few years ago but part two is missing and I really want to learn it. And if there is no chance of doing part two on that solo I'd love to see you breaking down the solo in the Unplugged - Bell bottom blues. Thank you! Keep the great work!
I remember this from your blues DVD course only turnaround I know. I’m onto drop C heavy palm muting and chugging now ;-) Has anyone else progressed from blues to hard rock/metal?
Lookin to buy some of your packages. What ones would you recommend for a new player? Eventually I’ll lean toward blues n Rock but need to start with the basics.
Hello Marty I am a big fan of you but i was wondering if you could play a schooting star of air traffic on your electric guitar? I am a beginner and i would love to play their guitar solo! Thanks in advance!
Hey Marty, it would be cool if you did a tutorial on the Last Goodbye by Billy Boyd. There aren't any nice tutorials on it and I would really like to learn it because I think that it's a nice song.
Love you Marty. I just got an electric guitar and I don’t know how to put on the wammy bar. When I twist it on it feels like it will break. If you could help me out that would be awesome.
Marty thanks for all the videos my man! I searched your channel but couldn't find a video for it... how about Ohio by crosby, stills, nash, and young??
Please do a lesson on the Shotgun Willie by Willie Nelson guitar solo only. I've been trying to learn it for years, I still cant figure it out. It would be a great thing to scratch off my bucket list.
Marty I’m a survivor of Sepsis Shock, after 45 years of playing I’m left with accute nerve damage, numbness, and muscle degeneration of my fingers. I’m determined to play again (I’m learning guitar from day one) by exercising my hands & fingers as much as I can. Before my illness your videos inspired me and I became a better guitarist, but it’s a struggle now. Could you help me, do you have any ideas, please?
