Acoustic Guitar Review: Breedlove Pursuit Exotic S Concert Edgeburst CE 

Use phosphor bronze strings. No 80/20’s. I put the phosphor bronze on my Teton. Ahhh man. You’d be surprised how much of a difference in sound and clarity between different string compositions.

I don’t think it being “American made” would make it sound any better. You don’t have to be American to make a great guitar. My Epiphone Masterbilt sounds better than my Gibson J45. Also, a UST pickup sounds dull and distorted on any acoustic because it’s limited design reacts directly with the strings, not the wood. Put the LR Baggs Lyric in this guitar and it will reproduce the air and sound coming from the woods close to how it would sound recorded with an external condenser mic.

@@michaelray5622 There are a lot of subjective thoughts shared. People have different sounds they like or get use to and/or not. There are several non "American Made" guitars costing tens of thousands each. I know people who personally new the founders and early years and even they said the brand changed a lot adding (notice) oversea manufacturing. My experience comes from the older hand made or custom made ilk. Keep up the learning and playing and do good and glorify the Most High of the Bible. Help the those of us to lift the curses coming upon the land. Read and believe your bible.
