Acoustic Musician Reacts | BABYMETAL & Polyphia are an UNSTOPPABLE force with BRAND NEW DAY 

Great reaction. The song is almost 5 years old being as it was on BABYMETAL's 3rd album Metal Galaxy released in 2019. It is certainly one of BABYMETAL's more 'chill' songs ... but BABYMETAL can do everything. That's one reason their collaborations all work so well as they are so versatile they can do pretty much whatever style and match up with whoever they are collaborating with. Tim Henson and Scott le Page recorded the guitar tracks for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest in Tokyo in May (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL) was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together.

Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era, it's been a while.🦊🤘🌅 Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find more songs like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, and it's quite clear in the solo section. Tim Henson said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Yesterday they finished the Europe Tour and they did it along with EC playing their collab song twice at Resurrection Fest in Spain. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. In a more recent interview BM said that they would love to collab along with Fall Out Boy, can you imagine?👀 Next suggestion to celebrate MoaMetal's birthday next week: - Love Machine live at Legend 1999. - Onedari Daisakusen live at Budokan 2021. - MoaBanger live at Legend M 2019, which is Headbanger!! with MoaMetal singing the 2nd part. This was filmed a few weeks ago at FOX_FEST in Tokyo. I was at this show, so I got to see it in person from the mosh pit. It was a mesmerizing performance with the way it was visually presented, the super smooth groove, and Su-metal's sublime voice. When I was watching it live, I was thinking, "This is going to look amazing on video" and it sure does. Tim and Scott looked like they were having a great time sharing the stage with Babymetal. Tim revealed last week at Download UK that there is another collab in the works, but this time Babymetal are going to feature on a Polyphia song.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤ Various elements created by 3 beautiful performers and 6 instrumentalists with virtuosity were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video. They did it together again in Belgian festival on June 20.

BUT I experienced it in a big format solo show in Japan a few months ago and I totally LOVE and enjoy the light show and the choreo (huge enthusiast of light and laser shows here). Not to mention that a chill song is really appreciated in the middle of a 15-song high energy set. 😜 🤘🦊

The production is also excellent. The vocals are not buried under those massive guitars, plus the light show is impeccable, e.g the lasers framing Scott, Su and Tim. 2:40 There is an interview available where Tim Henson explains how the song was done for the Baby Metal album Metal Galaxy.

Well, this song always gröoved, although originally Su was afraid : Is this really metal? Although the main Reason for this Song, was simply to demonstrate, how diverse Babymezal can work. A softer Song is no Problem for a Collab. So they played it 2 Times at zhe Foxfest and then rhey did the same in Belgium. All this Festivals generate acwhole new sense of Collabs.

Yes Tim and Scott's instrumentals are a driving force here but for me it is Suzuka's stunning vocal performance and Moa and Momo's beautiful backing vocals that seal it. Suzuka once again proves that (in my opinion) she is the most versatile and talented female singer today. She just loves to sing and it shows.
