Acoustic Paradiso - Fender Paramount "Guitar Supreme" 

Peter Honoré is by far my favorite guitarist of all time, so musical, so much soul and feeling in his playing but Mick, my god, he is an incredibly brilliant, phenomenal technician.

You two never fail to bring a smile to my face. Cheers chaps!

Acoustic Paradiso is one of my favorite things to watch and listen to on RU-vid. Always the bright intro's, it just makes me feel alive every time.

This review is accurate. We own & have ( for a couple years now) gigged out with these guitars (Paramount Parlor & our lead guitarist has Paramount Parlor Deluxe in Sunburst) & love them. All WOOD , built in tuner that's excellent , tone & volume , very nice upscale hardshell case. Tuners stay in tune. Nice tone. Very affordable, even more so if you can get them used. If it didn't have the "made in china label" you'd think it was made in USA, We don't endorse any "brand"......just saying we are very happy with these guitars and didn't pay a lot for higher end looking / sounding instruments. (Wish the other "brands" would use these electronics in their acoustic electrics...........they're wonderful ).

I am amazed at the guitar musical breadth of these two tropical shirted musicians.

Fantastic chemistry between these two, and in my humble opinion they're great players. They seem to be having a great time and really enjoying it, and surely that what it's all about

My grain of sand here: I have a Martin, Taylor and Gibson guitars and this one PM-1 (Standard, Mahogany open pore) is one of my favorite ones!!! the action is like on the electric guitars, low and really comfortable! The sound is really nice. It does not have the low end bass of my D18 BUT the sound is special... its just very enjoyable. You just can't go wrong with this ones... Edit: grammar.

Got the pm-3 yesterday! Great sound, all equiped (tuner, preamp, 2 strap buttons), beautiful design... But I'm afraid I have to send it back, because the neck width (44.5 mm at the nut) is definitly too big for me... Too bad, the full massive body was so good for the price...

When are we getting a full Andertons busking challenge?! (Pete and Mick, Cap and Chap, etc.)

Pete really seemed to be fighting with the fingerboard - not at all his usual smooth buttery style (Danish Butter Cookies?). So I suspect the fretwork and finishing leaves a bit to be desired on that far eastern Fender.

The Neumanns were a little too hot on gain. There was a fair bit of distortion on the bass strings. Apart from that, smashing video, really entertaining!

I have played a few of these Fender Paramount Acoustic Guitars recently. I work at a guitar shop in St Paul, MN. So I have played many many different guitars. I think these guitars look very cool. But unfortunately, I found the tone to be lacking. I think Fender wanted to put out a higher end acoustic guitar, & so they made some that had the extras that you usually find on higher price guitars. Like a fancier headstock & full binding. But they didn't make the guitar sound any better than their lower end acoustics. For the price, I think you can get better tone, out of acoustic guitars in the same price range, from Breedlove, Seagull, Simon & Patrick, Recording King, or even the Epiphone Masterbuilt series.

Is there a difference in build quality or what you get with a guitar when it is sold in the UK compared to the US? the Andertons website has it listed for around 550 euros when i select to ship it to the US, which is equal to about 630 dollars in the US. However these guitars in the US on almost every website are listed for $999... Is there a quality difference between the ones produced for the UK and the ones produced for the US? I don't understand why the price difference is so big!

I actually enjoy the mic sound of the guitars better than the plug in electronics.

The sound is a little blown out on the bass end. Also, could you guys be a little more precise in the placement/distance and direction of the sound hole towards the mic? I think we'd be able to hear differences between guitars a little better. Not trying to be rude, just a little friendly constructive criticism. Also, great playing. I showed parts of this video to my dad (big fan of the greats in guitar; Lester Flatt, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Doc Watson, etc.) and he asked if you guys had an album. Do it!! To get some inspiration, listen to "Chester and Lester" if you haven't already.
