I think this is the best fragrance house to ever exist There’s really no other fragrance house in existence where everything they do smells extremely mythical , gentlemanly , nostalgic and modern young at the same time.
Wonderful review as always! Thanks for your thoughts. I'd love to see more of acqua di parma on your channel. Especially colonia pura, colonia oud and fico di amalfi.
Ok i have about 1000 plus fragrances and many of Aaron's. This one is amazing, besides lasting forever. It is very different in a great way. I love it. I sprayed it again yesterday and this morning still strong on my arm..
I got so focused on your unique review style that I almost missed the content of your words. That said, when you started saying it was underwhelming, it became pretty clear. Looking forward to watching more of your content!
Congratulations for the review! Actually I really like Acqua di Parma fragrances, specially Colonia Oud, wich is a more exciting and audacious fragrances. It would be rather nice if you review it. Greetings from Brasil!
Hi Aaron you're awesome. Question though (as I've always been interested in trying this scent). I know you're underwhelmed, but is it good for what it's _trying_ to be?? Because I'm assuming with the oakmoss that its trying to be a very traditional fresh almost fougere-ish fragrance. Which is my cuppa tea.
Another great review. I must say that I love la male and ultra Male. My favourites till I discovered your fragrance house. I will wear them again one day once I have a bottle of animalix to boost them. 🦄👍🦄👍🦄
@@AaronTerenceHughes I will get some soon. Apart from the new releases, animalix and anubis are the only ones I don't have. But I have just ran out of onyx😪 looking forward to new releases mate. Take care. 🦄👍🦄👍🦄
Aaron Terence Hughes it was refreshing to know this fragrance contained natural ingredients. The wow factor is having someone in the fragrance community that cares to share this very unique experience you bring. 🙏😊
I was very surprised it wasn't Acqua di Parma Essenza di Colonia you were testing, because that's a top favorite. It smells like a darker and deeper version of the traditional Cologne Water. It's quite lovely.
Tony Malizia there is a reason I won’t test this house unless it gets demanded! Can’t say to much! But AQP do not like the way I review and do not like me! Words to that effect!
@@AaronTerenceHughes I'm sorry to hear that. That's a bad marketing move in my opinion. You should try to sort things out with a public figure, not get cocky, especially if it's a RU-vidr. I assume they underestimate your potential in the fragrance game. They might regret this in the future.
@@AaronTerenceHughes I know you can't say but I wonder if they (and I wouldn't be surprised if others were similar) don't like you revealing things about the fragrances composition, particularly the aromachemicals used?
I am a big fan of Acqua di Parma. There is a time for being a bad boy and a troublemaker, but there is also time to be a classy gentleman. AdP is a brand for men who don't have to shout to be heard.
I'm a fan of this fragrance and a lot of ADP's fragrances, particularly the Colonia and Blu Med. lines. They're definitely quite a reserved/traditional brand but I think they do what they do very well :) Mind you, they are expensive so I typically only buy from them when it's on sale.
My parfum since they destroyed the old Polo Green (which I had for almost 30 years). I absolutely love it, and yes it is expensive but it is great and special!
Acqua di Parma Oud and the newest addition Oud & Spice are absolutely fantastic. Luxurious, sensual, mysterious and intoxicating. Give them a try if you can. :)
Whelp, just blind ordered this. Hope it's worth it. Hate the JPG so that was out. Really wanted another TF fougere dargent like my old one, but the new version isn't TF money good.
I particularly enjoy your videos when I’m feeling anxious. There’s just something about your voice and hand movements and eloquence that relaxes me tremendously.

Interesting you low scored it ... I love it . But here is the kicker, I searched high and low and got 100ml for £109. What I like about it, is I don't think you get many men wearing this sent. And it at least smells quality...not a Zara job
@@AaronTerenceHughes I wouldn't say that at all Aaron. I think that they are a house that has always stuck to their roots and followed their heritage consistently. I think the fragrances are moderate in performance however I'd say due to the natural, Citruses.
With "Le Male" you mean the original one or the new "Le Male - Le Perfume"? Because to me it's really different, this one is safer, darker, more natural. I love almost every "Le male" who has been out but i consider them really different from this one.
How can you compare Quercia to Le Male? These are totally different scents. Le Male is sweet and cinnamony while Quercia is fresh green scent built around oakmoss. And it's very elegant by the way. Perhaps overpriced, yes, and longevity and projection could sure be better, but it's very good nonetheless. More like 8.5/10. (Not more because it's missing a certain "wow" effect.)
Not knowing how Le Male smells, I assumed he compared Quercia to Le Male because they were similar scents. I guess not. So I'm disappointed in the review. Its the first time I've come away from one of his reviews not really having a good idea of what the scent smells like.
Hard to disagree with the general conclusion in relation to the house of ADP here, really. Acqua Di Parma are very firmly bound to their traditionalist roots, or at least historically that's been the case. Personally I do rather like the original Colonia but I'm an enormous, huge fan of Colonia Oud because it takes that Colonia DNA and really surprises you with a darker twist that possibly falls into the category of 'acquired taste'. The rest? Inclined to agree with Aaron, really. But Colonia Oud, specifically, is simply wonderful and holds the mantle - as far as the ADP range as a whole is concerned - of being like nothing else out there. From that perspective, I love it's uniqueness while I adore the scent itself. Staple, for me.
Enjoying u reviews. Unfortunately it seems u reviewed the lower rated COLONIA Quercia [brown bottle - bright golden etiquette with black letters] Eau de Cologne concentrée. Be aware the top line is QUERCIA Eau de PARFUM - w/o Colonia. Just QUERCIA. Bottle black incl. etiquette with golden letters as u thumbnail. Confusing. Proposal for review: GARUDA Jul et Mad
@@Yanudibraim7111 As I have many fragrances I use Quercia not often. See it in the colder season, for over 30 well dressed. Better ask u partner bc quite penetrant. Guess would not buy it again. Recommend for the same conditions: Hacivat from Nishane.
Hmm. The first time I've seen your review and left it without having a clear idea of what the scent smells like. The comparison to Le Male put me on the wrong track as I thought it implied the scents smelled similarly. Disappointing. Your comments about how underwhelming it is, while nice to know, didn't really help me to understand whether it's the kind of scent that I might like (and thus try a decant) as your reviews usually have done in my experience. It seemed like you didn't like it because it wasn't adventurous. But it seems that tradition is what they value/bring to the table, and I wasn't looking for adventurous in this house.
