This has got to be the best one I've listened to yet, in terms of the music. The atmosphere is great, but the music is much greater, especially at the view I'm sitting by. :) Thanks! ❤👍
@@djfloppa8869 lots of plants with palm fronds in front of me, the sun shining bright, and beneath the shade of the place that I was cruising at. It was very nice, to say the least.
I love that so much of that aesthetic broke through into today. When I started discovering barber beats it was like I was having flashbacks from Vietnam or something but instead they were nostalgic and wholesome.
They did have a vibe, but I don't find them particularly fun gameplay wise. Wandering around trying to find 3 randomly scattered objects is not my idea of a Sonic level.
@@geraldchurchill5576 I loved it this way because back in 2005 I'd be chilling to the music and exploring the levels. Loved pumpkin Hill and aquatic mine especially
What an amazing mix, I'm so glad the algorithm showed me your channel. You said you enjoyed making these mixes much more than you expected, well I'm glad, I can't wait for a new one 😀! I don't have any suggestions though
Thanks for the kind words! The first time I saw a mix in this style were Benjamin G's Midnight mixes (I definitely recommend checking out the Midnight Break Room!), didn't take long for me to run into Hungry Skull's mixes as well. If it wasn't for them I probably would not be making these mixes so huge shout out to both of them for the inspiration!
@@djfloppa8869 Like the person before mentioned, these mixes are to die for. While Ben G and Hungry Skull are making other mixes with different genres with some overlapping, it' nice to see other people like yourself start making them as well. Seeing everyone's influenced art and choice in mix and setting location is fascinating to me. Not to mention you all share the same love for these game IP's so it's nice to see locations I would spend hours in as a kid being loved by these mixes! So thank you! Also Xnot's channel has some awesome DnB mixes set to Unreal Tournament that I would love to recommend
@@magicka56 Your words mean a lot to me! I played this game since I was a kid and more recently I've spent countless hours learning how to speedrun the knuckles stages (I am notoriously bad and, at this point, also washed up). I've seen Xnot come by so thanks for the tip! I do enjoy myself the DnB mix from time to time as well :)
