@@squattingheads That's stereotypical. A paladin is meant to do the right thing in whatever situation. If even a devil shows signs of good, they should show mercy.
Came as a surprise and I couldn't be happier. Also, I love how much Jim reminds me of Merlin from The Sword in the Stone. Always breaking RP and mentioning things that "don't exist".
Pre watching comment: You know guys i just wanted to go to sleep because i have to work tomorrow and it already is 2:30am where i live... Nah lets watch this
I want to thank you guys for this video. I REALLY needed a good laugh and some D&D sense I just broke up with my girl friend. You guys are as amazing as always THANK YOU! Praise Lethander!!!
I was listening this on the background until I heard "this is a kind of a macabre spectacle, right?", which to me, as a magic player, KNOW IT MEANS RAKDOS, WHICH IN TURN MEANS GET THE EFF OUT OF THERE.
I am glad there was still a Ac-Inc show without pax. The real question is...where is the C-team? We got the whole cast including Alissa doing a high school special, so why not some home grown Dankgrass approved C-Team content?
I think that they said they wanted to wait until they could be together in person before they started up C-Team again. It’s a little sad, but understandable since they’re winding down the show. Hopefully they can start up again soon!!
Kind of wish instead that the twist at the end would have been, "Look Omin. If you continue down this dark-dark path, you'll buy your way into Lathander heaven and be fine." And then just leave him to the judgement of the others.
Omin and Jim seem to be the only two characters that have stayed the course through the years. Binwin is gone, Vearie died, and have all been replaced...and that's ok because the adventure still hasn't lost its fun.
So when Bobby is hops up onto the stage I’ve got it in my head that he does it pro wrestling style with a ton of show and over-enthusiastic facial expressions
The audiences chanting with lightshows is what make AI live so special. I love the characters but there is something lacking without the stage. Cross fingers they an make a show this fall/winter when more folks are vaccinated. 😓
Omg! Penny Arcade does it again! I’m always up for a laugh! This rendition of A Xmas Carol is piss funny!! In this case, what goes around comes around?!
No hate, but I miss when Acq Inc was funny. I get it, Acq Inc is an official D&D product now and the irony of it getting the corporate treatment isn’t lost on me. Jeremy is an amazing GM, but it seems he was brought in to move the tone from an often inappropriate “boys club” comedy show to a more mainline D&D podcast. It still has it’s moments and I enjoy the diversity, but other then the setting, it feels so generic. To me the magic of ACQ INC was that it wasn’t like all the other D&D podcasts that took themselves so seriously and instead it’s irreverent humor showed a whole new fun side to D&D that appealed to an audience that didn’t know or care what a D20 was. You could tell Chris Perkins was supposed to run official D&D campaigns to sell books but his style of throwing out the story and rules for funny character moments and joining the jokes at the table is what made the show so fun for me. I loved replaying old podcasts because I would pick up new jokes each time. Oh well. Acq Inc’s old holiday special with Binwin and Perkins is on amazon video and def worth checking out after this.
i have to agree with this, perkins made the game so much fun. i wouldnt have started playing D&D or uploading it to youtube if i had not come across these guys
Strix, Evelyn, and Bobbie are all great too of course. But they're more an addition than a replacement. Hopefully we get Viari back soon. But last I heard, Binwin is dead. So he'll be abit more complicated.
@@thehatter9400 No, they are taking a break from the show due to COVID and will resume the game/show when they are allowed to safely play in person again.
I got sucked into Dimension 20 and Naddpod. I miss chris perkins as the DM. Jeremy just doesn't sell it. Also for those who listened since ep 1 Jim magically darkens his hair.
