DTF Supplies: www.dtf.technology/ Acrorip DTF printing tutorial that explains common DTF rip printing settings. Best acrorip settings for a DTF Epson L1800 printer.
What is the purpose of the “remove black ink” setting? Is that in case i print on black shirts, it will use the black of the shirt for the black of the image? I tried a test and it printed the black anyways.
Thanks man, it's a great tutorial. You mentioned about old printers that has misalligned heads; My Printer is Epson L1800 and it's quite new, I bought it 6 mos. ago. The only problem is when I use the options to head allignment I cannot get the best result. Is there any other way or software that can help me to get the best in head allignment?
What is the system requirments for acrorip? because my printer slow very down in middle of print and i tried several methods ,cr motor changing cr heat protection reset usb cable changing usb port changing but nothing so i think i have problem in my system
Is it possible to use household Iron to trasfer instead of heat press machine. Because am planning to sell printed film and most of the customers doesn't own heat press machine.
Bonjour j'ai un soucis, quand j'imprime des petits motifs en 100% blanc sur des petits motifs pas de soucis mais ils ne l impression n'aboutit pas sur du plus grand format ... Une idée ?
Hi, I have a Epson L1800, to print only white logos on a black t-shirt, can I get excellent results by printing the white isotro at 1440x720 or should I print the white at 1440x1440?
I’m using the rip 9.0.3 and my colors are all over the place. I have the Epson 1400 do you recommend any color settings and the percentage box per color my blues are looking like dark purple flash tones are to read my black is bleeding onto the next color like a gradient fade
Use a cringe to draw the ink from the damper. See if you get a lot of bubbles. Look for obstructions. Is it easy to draw the ink? Compare it to the other damper that's working. If everything looks good, it's probably your printhead.
ive been printing on A3 but printed one image on A4 then went back to print on A3 again and it gives me an error message that says printing size is larger than printable size. i dont know how to fix it. you have any ideas
Hello! I just setup a new L1800 printer following your instruction in the previous videos. Thanks! I am using Acrorip 9 and I have an issue with the ink going all around the paper, dripping wet.. What can I do to fix it? I tried various settings, but unfortunately it is not working still. Only one setting turned out to work but very faded.. thanks
Hi thanks for this great video - my acrorip has no setting for YKWWMC for my L1800. I can't get white to print and suspect this is the reason. I'm using acrorip 9. Do you have any advice?
I am having some issues with the colours, also the white has a blueish tone to it. Do you know what should I check/adjust to get proper colors? Thanks!
As your ink supplier for an ICC profile. Clean out any contamination with cyan/white. Make sure different colours of ink are not mixing. Adjust the settings according to what your ink supplier recommends. Clean the printhead if required. Use quality inks. Could be a lot of things.
Hello there, I have an Epson L1800 and I tried to follow the same settings as the one shown in the video, however when I use the "Stylus Photo 1390/1400" option, I don't get the "Print Colour First", or "COLOR+WHITE" options in the print setting. Only "RIpBoost" has that and I'm not sure if that's what's causing the ink to run or not. Any way I can fix it to make it more like yours?
Hi , if I print a logo that contains fades gray and gold text and the print for the logo turns blueish and the text almost fade a bit into green than gold what do you recommend to start with ? Br Paul from Sweden
Any idea why the printer doesn't apply more white ink even when I increase the saturation to 300%? No matter how much saturation I set, it always applies very little ink. Epson 4880 DTG printer
I've made a slight mistake in the video. 100% is the maximum. You should try mixing your white, purging your white ink lines + dampers and giving your printhead a clean.
Hello, when I set my white to 100%, its bleeding after 50% print. My resolution is 1440, color dot is Mix and epson 1390/1400 for printer settings. Can you help what's the issue?
Hi, I have a new L1800 make a same setting, but the wite is too translucent but I take a 100% white under any colored pixel, Please help me thanks. (my prints look like gradient maybe wroster from the back)
How do I get my image to show pixalized on the left top portion? When I upload my image it prints full with the background but I only want the image itself
Did you prepare your image for print, remove the background and export it in PNG format with transparent background? Acrorip is only used for printing. You still need to design print ready designs in your preferred image editing software
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 one last question, what is the 'wave' option in the printer tab? It's set to off by default but I have no clue as to what it does
Do a penny size print with it on and with it turned off. It should not make any difference with regular printers. It's mainly used for UV printing. @@crumble7598
Quick question. My white ink comes out almost transparent over the color image. I've used all of the suggested settings. Done multiple head cleanings, shook the dampers and white ink tank, tried using a syringe to get the white ink out of the damper and put in back in the tank and still the results are relatively the same. Any suggestions?
Has it always been like that? Maybe you just bought cheap white ink? If your ink is good, if your dampers are filled with nice bright ink and there are no clogging problems then I have no idea. Maybe raise white ink levels? If bright white ink goes into the print head and comes out transparent a second later, that's some sort of a magic trick. Can't see how that would even be possible.
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 thx for response. I had another dtf printer that went bad. The ink sat for maybe a month. I got a new one and transferred the inks from the old tanks to the new ones. The color inks are great, just an issue with the white.
y axis elongates print I solve it by loading the print 30X41cm (a3 size) in the acro rip I change to 30x32.5cm and the y axis has a good print. is there any better solution?
Hi, our % only goes to 100%. Any reason I see most go to 200%? Also, our designs look good but when put on darker colored shirts the white doesn’t look white anymore. Can you help with what we need to do? We have a converted L1800.
Newer rip versions only go up to 100%. That's the maximum amount of ink you can push anyway. For brighter white check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bVdyhlNgxrY.html
I have an acrorip v10.5, followed the same settings on a brand new epson l1800 with inks filled. However, acrorip software displays print command error twice then it shows white ink empty (although it is filled up). Need help!! thank you
It's referring to the white in your image, not your ink tank levels. You are probably trying to print a white layer that isn't there. Also, it bugs out sometimes. Just add a tiny red square to your image. You can cut it out later.
Hi, great video, I am using the settings that you show on your video but the scale of my printouts does not match the output size shown? for example when I am printing on A3 pet the size comes out all wrong, distorted and not in scale, a graphic of a4 size more than fills the A3 size sheet I am using :( thanks for any help you can give me.
I have the same problem and I solve it by loading the print 30X41cm (a3 size) in the acro rip I change to 30x32.5cm and the y axis has a good print. is there any better solution?
Hi mate..I have a problem with my printhead, i bought a new one but when i installed it and tested it, no white is printing on top of the other colors, Is that mean that the white is clogged or is there a problem on the printhead? I did clean the printhead with printhead cleaner and test it again but still no luck with the white printing on. Any help please?
Hi I have done the DTF conversion of the L1800 printer, I have loaded the acrorip software and followed these settings, I have updated all drivers, but when I click print, it just feeds 1 film straight through without printing and then gives an out of paper notice. I have tried everything, but just cannot get it right
You can either queue multiple print jobs or add multiple designs to one sheet in your image editing software. You can't add multiple designs in acrorip. You can only repeat or tile them.
You will need a roll holder either DIY or a ready made one as well as print to roll management software. So you will send your print jobs to your roll printing software first instead of your printer and that software will then make sure that your printer stops after each print job instead of unwinding the whole roll. Both the roll holder + software will be available in our store next week.
Hi, My Acrorip Is performing ok when setting an Image but when It starts to Rip It goes really Slow and after a long time does not print. It works fine on my Laptop though ripping to the same Printer. Do you have any Idea why this would be happening on my Desktop ? Regards Geoff
You can try using a different USB port/Cable. Maybe check that acrorip is not being blocked by some security/antivirus software. You can try reinstalling it. It should work faster on better hardware.
Yea I followed all that and numerous other videos and my image doesn’t come out to size. It’s coming out long enough but only half the width. Using 13” wide roll. It’s squishing the image to make it skinny but as long as it should be. Not sure if you have a solution for that .. I’m at a loss watching numerous videos on this. I did sublimation dtf for a year and just upgraded to a DTF L1800 printer and it won’t print correct size
Print some text from a word document. Without using acrorip. If it prints fine, that will rule out printer issues. Make sure your printer drivers are installed. Make sure you have the correct printer model selected in acrorip. You can also try selecting 805 model. Make sure your resolution matches. Eg 1440 x 1440 or 720 x 720
I have a epson 1800, and i defined every configuration like you did, but for some reason the white is not printed. but if i define the gradient white it works. I want to print in white some stuff and i dont know what is the issue. I've been searching for it for like 3/4 days. Do you have some advice?
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 Finally managed to solve this problem, basically executed every maintenance button that exists there :D, and after that I noticed that I had air in the white inks too, removed that with a syringe and now it's working!
My printer doesnt print when i send print on acro rip but instead when i restart my laptop, it prints I dont know if the epson software is affecting it
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 RIGHT XD, thx I got other issue tho, the ink tanks on print head, the white ink doesn't refil, i gotta do it manualy with syringe. Is that normal?
I actually have this settings but the output for dark tshirts is bad. Its not vibrant nor colorful the print in dark tshirt kinda dark. Can you please help me get the right settings for black/dark tshirts? Or do i need just adjustments in what settings?
I finally got my Epson l1800 to print through the acrorip 8.2.6 program ( it kept starting to print and then jammed light would start flashing) but when it did finally print it did not print the 2nd layer of white ink. What am I doing wrong?
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 when I go to print mine looks a little bit different than what your shows on this video it's got two boxes underneath the white side that say like ch1 and ch2 but I do have both of them to say one copy but I don't know where to check to say print at the same time.
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 I don't think I can do it on the same print with the acro rip 8.2.6 I think that's the problem I think I need to get the 9.03
Hi, is it possible if it will be setting wanna use black ink only. cause im thinking to make it dual which can be print for DTF Film and screen print transparency film? is it can be like that? or Acrorip only work for DTF film only? hope u can help me. thanks a lot for clear information.
Acrorip has nothing to do with the type of paper or film you stick into the printer. So you can print on anything. Paper, film, transparensies, sticker paper etc.
I see, so it means we can set up to use black ink only in acrorip? Or just use the default printer software, but seem DTF tank already differ ink filled i mean like (YKWWMC). Can u do a tutorial for that? If printing on film transparency using acrorip?😬 pleaseeeee...
For DTG? L1800 is quite bad for DTG. I'd go with the maximum 200% white, which is not enough, so I'd do 1 pass with just white and 1 more pass with white and colour. Colour between 35-80%. Medium and large dropplet size.
@@matiasoliva1185 Are you talking about DTG or DTF? Because I gave you DTG settings like you asked for. You just look at the film. When powder melts. You only need to melt it so that you don't smudge the transfer during application process. So it's not important how well you melt it ot for how long.
No, it will print white behind the transparency. In order to print semi transparent pixels, you have to process the image in photoshop. It's a detailed process but there are a lot of videos on here that show how to do it. I have my PS set up with auto actions so I can select the color shirt im printing on and PS will automatically process the image for DTF.
I don’t know what else to do bro I download the drivers from Epson installed it set it up did a test print to make sure the drivers was working went perfect restarted my computer opened acrorip 9 did a nozzle test using acro rip 9 it worked tried printing with it nothing my printer not responding to it so do it all over again nothing so I switched computers downloaded Epson drivers install driver I can do a nozzle check are a head cleaning in acro rip but it wont print don’t know what else to do I attached pics of my settings in acro maybe theres something I don’t see I have it hooked up to usb /drivers installed/acro rip is just not printing/ has anyone else had this problem
If your printer can print on regular paper normally, then it's not the problem with windows, drivers or printer. It narrows everything down to an acrorip problem. Go into windows threat protection and check protection history. Make sure your windows is not blocking parts of acrorip.
Hello sir, White ink is not getting printed over colored one.. what can be the reason ? when I give nozzel check command to my printer all nozzles of white is printing in that case.
On print screen tick 1 copy of white and untick colour. Then reset and print just colour without white. If you want to print both white and colour at the same time untick print colour first box.
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 Thanks for the reply. Actually what I meant is instead of a circle shape I got an oval shape. The image printed is being compressed. Is it something to do with the layout setting?
Thanks I figured that out....now I have another question...the printer will print when I do the checks and anything through the printer software....but it won't print through acrorip....Everytime I try it jams. Jammed light starts flashing ...what can I do? Do I have setting messed up somewhere?
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 the printer will print when I do anything for setting it up and it prints fine and we'll go through but whenever I try to print something from acro rip it says that it's jammed the light flashes like it's jammed every time am I doing something wrong do I have a setting wrong or what do you suggest to do
