As I have watched all your videos I am curious.. At what time, Chuck and Laura, did the two of you say to each other, "we are ready to go to Alaska"? At what point did you feel you were ready? And how were your nerves when you first untied the lines and headed out of the harbor? I really enjoy your videos and am looking forward to cruising myself.....Thank you for sharing your adventures...

When we decided to go to Alaska we had already been cruising for five years. Departing Hawaii in this video for our first crossing in our own boat was exciting but the hardest thing for most people is casting off the lines knowing you have no plans to return. Making that kind of drastic change in ones life can be difficult but, as it had long been our goal, we found it exhilarating.to finally be setting sail.

Some of our videos have music. Some of them do not. In each case we have tried to capture the mood of that day. Being an amateur musician, Chuck likes the tunes and enjoys finding just the right music.

Deinterlace??? OK, now that I know what that means I see it. I have since changed the settings on my rendering software so later videos don't have that problem. I'll re-do this one later.
