Hello Paul. Love the paint combination. The gold, if it is gold, looks like copper. Love turquoise, copper and black mix. I bead and often use those combinations. Love watching you create.... very inspiring.

It looks like you pulled the tape too soon.Is there a way you can fix those lines while it's wet ?What I do with tape is to go over it with my primer again,after I lay my main primer,and let it dry.The primer seals the edges of the tape.Then do your pour.The pour paint won't seep under the tape.Then,let it dry,and pull it.I use Frog tape because it binds really well to my canvases.Just a suggestion.Painting with tape is difficult,even on smooth surfaces.

I use Frog Tape too. In this piece, I don't think he was going for super clean edges. Your tip for painting over the tape edge is great. I think that would work especially well for painting walls!

Hey Gary, thanks for the heads up, its makes perfect sense,In this piece I painted over the edges with the primer when it dried and then varnished over leaving a Krisp and clear finish...As Queens Little Corner said,sometimes I will leave a jagger edge if it's in keeping with the overall look of the piece...Thanks for your commentsend guys and thanks for watching 😀

Cool.I see other videos on here where painters just pull their tape up and their lines are so smooth.I tried a couple and they were disasters .lol. But someone in another video said to prime OR paint over your tape first to essentially seal the edges of the tape.I tried it...and the results were spectacular.

Hi Sonia,when the paint is starting to set a little "you can use the torch at this point to help" I then peel off the tape..It's not really that important as you can paint over the black when the picture drys...Thanks for your comment and for watching 😀

Gold paint tends to be heavy and sinks. Might try it at the beginning and/or the end of your pour? Looks great!

Thanks for the tip Kristi,it is heavy but when it shows up it looks amazing...The turquoise I used in this piece always takes over..I have used Gold with Yellows, Orange and Reds before and it looks like Gold leaf has been added to the piece when it drys..Thanks for watching 😊

I disagree on the separated parts but a black frame would look great. Hell, I love it even without a frame at all really....it would pop on just about any background. Really cool regardless! 😁

What are you mixing with the white paint? You keep,stirring it? And what is that blue gadget you’re waving over the painting? Its’s helping to create cells.
