How to - Acrylic Nails using Nail Tips Beginner Friendly Series Part 2. In this video I show how to do acrylic nails using nail tips. I'm also working on my non dominant hand. This is the second installment of my beginner friendly series where I get back to the basics of acrylic nails. I'm self taught and have been doing my nails for years now. That’s exactly how I lay my acrylic down on my clients and myself.😍 Yes it takes a lil longer than the 1 ball method but my clients don’t have to come back for a fill till after a month! It’s not about the money to me, it’s the quality and consistency of my work and how happy my clients be from getting their nails done by me. 💜 You rock doing nails! I love your work..I prefer nail forms bcuz I hate the glue and fitting each tip and gluing them then cutting and filing them then blending takes all your time..lol!! Nail forms,after you thoroughly prep the nails just apply dehydrator then primer then fit the forms on the application and you can apply acrylic according to what shape you want..thats just my preference..

I love watching your vids I find them so relaxing! Not trying to be thay person but be careful with the no lift nails primer, I find just a drop in the middle if you watch it will actually spread to almost your whole nail, just too much can damage the helix! Love ya!!!

I like these tips it took me forever to find some straight tips that weren’t curved to hell & back...I also prefer to sculpt with a form.. I’m just better with a form I’m not as good with a tip but it’s whatever you practice & how you were taught.. literally the first nail I ever did was a sculpted nail I just jumped in the deep end head first ...

How short are you trying to go? You may need to get shorter tips rather than cutting the tips shorter. You can find short stiletto tips on Amazon or eBay. When I want really short nails, I just sculpt them. It saves me time and tips! Good luck! 👍🏾

DeeDee Hernandez nails & all that glitters I love the smell of it too I thought I was the only one😂 but does it not make your acrylic turn yellow? I know it’s not the acrylic itself turning yellow because I wipe my brush with the monomer and the paper towel turns yellow. I don’t know if this happens to you or not?

I have tried so many monomers that includes cnd, which is good & the smell isn’t awful in a vented area it’s not bad at all & enailcouture. Which is awful the worst crap ever it’s awful & for the claim it’s low odor cotton candy scented it’s scented alright but not cotton candy I actually tried it twice.. but recently I on a whim ordered young nails it’s the best I’ve ever used.. it’s so smooth & truly low odor it dries slow it’s so good .. & they sell to everyone on their website now all is welcome licensed or not..

I have done poly gel nails a few times on my little sister and now since I’ve gotten an e file I’m going to do acrylics for the first time I really want to do my own as well but i feel like it would be really difficult to do my other hand any tips or advise on that i would really appreciate

I really always wanted to take acrylics into a career but my Mexican mom basically told me it’s a hobby. But they way you explain it so calmly makes me want to do it again. When I do my own nails I’ll make sure to watch this again.

How do you keep the brush from hardening?

T Nicole a paper towel nearby helps a lot. The way I do it is I wipe the brush like every 5 seconds basically and once I am all don’t I put my brush in the monomer and “burp it “ and then I wipe it on the towel again

You have to constantly wipe the brush out on a good paper towel I keep a roll at my table.. & if I have to I’ll clean my brush with acetone as I’m using it because you can’t pick up good beads of acrylic with a dirty brush it’ll stick to the product it’s a mess .. so you just have to clean as you use the brush
