My therapist suggested paining for me. I love canvas especially because if you mess up, you can just paint over it and start an entirely new work. Thanks for sharing! I’ll be doing this next.
Nice. I'm glad I watched this. Inspired, now I shall paint a night sky of my own. Probably won't be as good as yours or who knows, maybe it'll turn out better than that one! Time to get to work!
Love this! I am going to approach a request for a friends painting this way! But as a switch up I am going to put a layer of resin over it. then I am going to put another layer after the first layer of resin dries and add resin + alcohol inks + glow in the dark mica pigments to create a galaxy serene sky. Hope my friend loves it!
I'm not entirely sure, it's been a while since I created the video. I'm guessing a cobalt blue or a primary blue. At that time I was buying a lot of Artists Loft 16.9oz tubes from Michaels. Thanks for watching!
When I use black another color (like here blue) and white, it turns out more grey instead of lightening the blue. it's like the grey always dominates over the other color... is there a way to avoid that?
Anytime black and white are mixing you're going to get a grey result. In this example, working top down, I'm making sure I'm using mostly blue before adding the white. You can minimize any grey by wiping off your brush occasionally as you blend the colors. This will help to limit the amount of black reaching the white.
