My stepfather was a teacher, my aunts were both teachers, and I was a consultant for television networks during the conception of HDTV. I taught and spoke to many for post-production methods and procedures, but I have never been more impressed with your teaching style and depth. I would lead this way, too, if I had the talent you do. I've successfully painted oil for the last several years, but today and from now on, I will switch to acrylics. Just one of your fans.
You are a joy to watch paint but it is a blessing to be able to be taught by you. Thank you for sharing and caring so very much for those of us who want to take the time to learn and improve our techniques. I value your humbleness and honesty. Thank you, David. God bless….. now go walk your dogs, Lol
Dear David -- As we get ready to welcome 2024 - I am reminded of how grateful I am that you are such a gifted and generous teacher. Watching your videos always makes my day. Best wishes to you and yours for a very Happy New Year! JV
Thank you so much for sharing! I am always looking forward to your technique for everything- I need to know more! I am always practicing and learning as much as I can.... so much to try to learn about all of these different products- when and what to add - one day I hope to achieve that - just a little here- just a little there- and have it land on the canvas like yours- those half tones are tricky-- thank you so much for sharing,God bless you and your family!
It’s been a blessing to discover you and your enthusiasm this year. Thank you for continuing to share - wishing you a joyful New Year from way down in New Zealand

One of the best art teachers if not the best online. So precise , the little things are the most important and those are the things not normally taught. Thank you sir.
Hi! David....Amazing teaching methods. But i have a suggestion. Can you show us how to sign beautiful signature after each of your painting below the right hand corner. What type of brush to use for the signature?
Hi David, I have just started painting as I have recently retired. I am interested in your online classes. Is it too early or are they for more experienced artists. I am interested in landscapes. Loving all of your online tutorials and have tried a couple. Finding them easy to follow and full of extr emely useful information . I have also purchased your paints and finding that they make a big difference especially when painting water. Thank you so much.
Online classes can be for all levels. That is how I teach them. If you need some suggestions, just email the studio at JansenArtStudio@aol.com and they will help you.
