Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel! This is an acrylic painting tutorial in real time. In this step by step video, you’ll learn how to paint a lady wearing a pretty dress with light filtering through the lacey sheer fabric. I’ll also show you how to paint irises, and a garden archway by the pond. Feel free to paint along using any colours you like or the ones I used listed below:
Titanium white
Dioxazine purple
Metallic gold

I love watching you paint and when I can, following along. Sometimes I start out following but get lost in the colors and my own imagination that I forget that I'm following, you have such a soothing and relaxing voice that 3 tutorials later, I'm finishing what we started and it's nothing like it was supposed to be! But this painting spoke to my soul and I can't wait to try it! I can't wait to do it a few times and turn it into my own. Thank you so much for sharing your work! I learn so much from your videos.

You're such a great artist! I guess I finally found the right artist to inspire me more. I love all your art works, the colors you used and how mellow and patient you are explaining what you do. Arts gives me happiness , I'm a lost artist myself I should say. My destiny brought me to a different path but I still want to pursue what I love to do if time permits it. man, the limited palette is really working in this painting. Violet and yellow, complimentary. Purple/violet pretty much in the same ballpark so it's really making this look nice and vibrant. Nice job on the woman, too. I had to edit my comment and add that the composition is very good, too. The woman is facing INTO the painting as she is mostly at the right but looking left. She's also looking AT the gateway which makes the viewer want to see what she's looking at so you have this foreground woman just popping off the canvas near you and then all the dreamy stuff just in the distance not far away where you go hey, I want to explore TOO! haha So, nice job all around, I say. Thumbed UP.

Hi Joni I love this tutorial its absolutely fantastic. I was clicking through RU-vid and watched one tutorial and decided to give painting a try . I started in February this year and learning alot from you. Brush stroke,colour etc. I used to be a chef and art is alot like cooking where as you tweak a recipe to make it your own and to your taste, you treat the canvas the same . I've tried cotton buds, palette knife(not successfully though) tin foil and sponges it's amazing what you can create with. Anyway just thought I'd let you know how much I enjoyed this painting and I've been following you since I came across your tutorials. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent. Jackie 😀
