ABOUT ME & MY ART 🦋 I am a high school and self taught artist. Art is the way in which I "Pour" (no pawn intended), my heart out! I draw my inspiration from the beauty that I see in my daily life. From beautiful reds and oranges of summer sunsets, the many blues and purples in the sky, the crisp silver and white of winter nights and the green of the emeralds and mountains of Colombia, where I grew up! I am also a polymer clay artist and love using that media to create wearable art pieces that can bring joy to others!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I appreciate the time you took to show how you do this lovely craft, as well as all the tips & products you personally use! The dab tool was especially clever, & will prove mighty useful! I have always wanted to do acrylic pours ever since I saw (on RU-vid, of course) what gorgeous things floetrol can do. I make jewelry & tiny things for my daughters antique doll house & simply do not have the space to do a canvas size painting, so making the earrings you have so graciously shared, I can intertwine both crafts! Again, thank you so much. Your earrings are beautiful & you have inspired me to give this a try. 😊

This is a couple years old and RU-vid sent it to me. I’m working with wood jewelry I’m sure is why. I’m glad I read some of the comments before finishing the video. Disappointed you didn’t explain how you made them. The cup makes it look like you were going to show us not just a showing off of the pretty earrings you made. I will look around your other videos and hopefully you did share how you did this:)

When shopping at Michael's, I saw A Modge Podge product that is a durable sealer, called a hardcoat sealer. They also make a dishwasher-safe sealer and a decoupage sealer. I've only used the dishwasher-safe and found it to be effective, as I don't like the odor of the regular one. That could be an option for coating, instead of resin. Hope you make more videos showing the entire process.

Very lovely one suggestion though I would resin or seal it all the way up because my experience with bare wood is that over time the wood will get dirty even just from handling love your art

I've been making jewelry for years but have to change some of my techniques due to my health and lack of stamina (I used to do alot of time intensive stuff and metalwork). Ever since I tried acrylic pouring I've been wanting to do this on wooden earring shapes for a few years but don't have all the equipment such as the UV lamp and resin. One suggestion to protect the back of your earrings or pendants is to stick them onto some painter's tape. It will save you alot of clean-up because the paint will not be able to go under the tape. Yes, please do a video of making one of these from beginning to end. What kind of cell activator do you use? Is it Floetrol, or something else?

You are a wonderful teacher, Angelica! Your students are very lucky to have you! What subject do you teach? Sorry I don’t mean to be nosy-just curious! Several of my HS teachers had a huge influence on my life! Your very first video was so well done! Thank you for making it and sharing your knowledge. I liked and subscribed, of course😃 Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. One thought: I do recommend you seal the unprotected wood areas, and also the sides and back after you paint them with Posca pen. Acrylic paint does need protection😃

Elmers clear glue might be a finishing option too. I use it on many different substrates. Resin and I aren’t friends 😞

Great first video. You have a good voice. Now you must make a video of actually making your earrings, be it the wooden ones, or painting on glass, as soon as you can, otherwise people will just forget you. If you are using you tube you need to be seen to be active to make your channel work. Good luck. ❤️
