Wow, I love this one. You make it look so easy to do. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I use to paint a lot before I had kids and I miss it so much. Seeing your video makes me want to dive into it again.
Klasse ausgearbeitet! Du hast aber auch den Blick dafür, dass so ein fantastisches Werk entsteht. Danke dass Du uns alle Schritte der Maltechnik zeigt.
Dear Gerda, thank you so much for your tutorials! it helps understand some of your techniques a lot....It´s highly generous of you! Not working now, but will try soon....With my unending admiration, fron France.
Morning Gerda, I have just watched one of your creations as suggested by Annmarie. Exquisite work 😀 I have subscribed of course and look forward to your tutorials. Thank you for putting descriptions in English that’s very thoughtful of you 🙏. Karen from Down Under NewZealand.
Thanks for this wonderful video. I love the alcohol dripping technique and the way you then create masterpieces with negative painting. The patterns created by the dripping alcohol look similar to lichen and make me feel like the painting is almost alive and breathing. Such a beautiful art form.
Hi Gerda, it's just amazing to watch you create a mysterious world. There is depth, there are hidden spaces... Whole stories emerge in my head when I look at your inspirational paintings... Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Just amazing ... I love the shapes, the shading and detail you bring out, the piece simply evolves! I try to imagine what planet or place we’re seeing from high above. Pure delight to watch you create1
So beautiful!!! I discovered the acrylic painting last year by your videos and I am follow all you videos since then and are always so curious to find out what you will do the next time. Your paintings are so wonderful and you are so generous with sharing your knowledge. Thank you for all the joy you give to me!
christina Österberg So true! Gerda is a natural teacher, a painter's painter. So refreshing to watch and listen to someone who gives you the 'hows' and the 'whats' of painting, instead of all that utter nonsense the art 'critics' spout... All those books abut famous painters never say a word about the materials or methods, just a pile of boring verbiage about 'meaning'....
@@deemic1551 Dee Mic, as a contemporary art school grad I must say I fully agree with you. All they teach is how to write academic essays full of profound bulshit and zero actual meaning. As a result the former art students end up watching youtube tutorials trying to get real inspiration to work and to sell.
Extremely interesting ! You take the most out of all the accidents created in phase 1 with the ethanol and from there you create your new world . Congratulations , beautiful result
Beautiful. Using both chance and freedom along with working a thoughtful response to that chance aspect resulting in beautiful non-objective paintings. Very generous to share this. Many artists will not share their techniques and ideas. For this Gerda deserves praise.
I was so speechless by the end of this video. I had to contemplate what I just saw..... Omg, I never new about this technique. Thank you so much for sharing this work with us. I am so happy that I found your videos!!
Fabulous. I've been working on something similar in oils and solvents but can't wait to try the alcohol and acrylic as theories take so long to dry. Thanks for sharing so generously all your techniques.
Masterpiece !! As I sad in one comment - you are endless inspiration... So...I'm working on many paintings inspired by you... Thanks for being here....💜💜💜
