What a performance...! The music and the overall cast and chorus are impressive.

I miss the high notes at the end...

What on earth are these people wearing? I won't criticize the singing, I'll just say that this is music for principals, not covers.

Poliuto is great singable music!! I am really enjoying learning the role of Paolina so quickly due to how melodious and tonal the musical singing line is. Videos and recordings really help me learn a role since I'm not great at sight reading, but in this performance, I can rarely even hear Martinez over the chorus. On that account, I am not impressed with this soprano's smallish voice, nor am I happy with the lack of assistance she is giving me to learn those lines!
