If your garage isn't requiring a mezzanine(loft area) than it'd likely be just the cost to finish the livable space which is up to you as to the size allocation but generally speaking...to add a 20x20 livable space that includes a bedroom w/walk in closet, small-medium sized kitchen w/appliances and a full bathroom could easily be a 25-35k job on a finishing project w/all the necessary framework needed. It's the sewer/water/electric hookups with your city that bump this price up usually. Also, you'd generally want to install the building on a concrete slab for the best results and as of now, a 30x40 & 50 concrete pour runs about 5-8k. Hope this helps! @@chrisbaker7858 Sorry Chris, but the price here is only for the "kit". It ships direct to the customer. It's more of a DIY cost savings idea, but in reality hiring a crew would cost an arm and a leg. I know because I have inquired for myself. And Yes, the concrete and utilities are separate too.
