Wow this helps a lot. I’ll use these tricks on a practice test first and see how it goes. I know my calculator can do a lot and it’s approved for the SAT so I want to learn it to the best of my abilities:)

2:57 You could also do second and click on Calc and select zero and do it for both the times or however many times you see the graph hit zero.

Yes you may use the TI-84+ calculator, you are NOT allowed to use the TI-89 calculator

5:20 is not cool !!!! Solver and type any thing, anything at once and you get the right answer. Ofcourse sign reversal for the first 2 terms, now on the right side of the equal sign. Math : Solver 0 = -log24/log(2) + log(3)/Log(2) + log(X)/Log(5) X = 50 bound={ 1 , 250 } cursor on X, ALPHA SOLVE = 125 Done.

i^62 = i^60 * i^2. Since i^60 has a power that's a multiple of 4, we know that i^60 = 1.

I wish I could use all of these strats but I sure ain't gonna spend 300 bucks on a calculator. My non-graphic calculator will have to do.

the TI-84 is about $100. My suggestion is to check out eBay and Craigslist for used ones - I've found them for as little as $20 on local classified ads (Craigslist or LetGo)

Jordi Alba the older versions of the ti84 don't have the feature available. If you have it on your calculator you will find it by clicking "Math" and then scrolling down it will say "LOGBASE"
