Seeing an adult behave this way just makes you realize how weird it all is lol Edit: Dang, idk why this got so many likes! For all of you saying that I should've realized that already, I did already know that teenagers act strange - my comment was simply that it's more obvious when it's out of the usual context and I thought it was funny - we usually give teenagers a pass because we expect them to behave oddly compared to older people, so seeing the same behavior done by an older generation is kind of satirical.
I also teach middle schoolers and I just moved from teaching k-5. The 6-8th graders behave the same way my 2-3rd graders before covid behaved. It’s really weird.

@@daveisdead do you realize how many people you're generalizing? They're are a lot of people who are Gen z who have quite distinct personalities. I know a lot of them. The only reason it seems like they're all stupid is because they put themselves out on the internet so you see them more than you'd see the normal ones. Generalizing a group of people, especially one you're in is one of the dumbest things you can do.

This is my daughter Anjel and I swear I get lost in her expressions when she’s just talking. I be expecting simple answers but she’s a whole mood. I’m always saying “huh? What does that even mean 😂 “.

It’s so cool having gen z children. They are the most thoughtful generations and don’t take bullshit and have great fashion sense. Most my friends are all parents. 90’s babies. I see their children growing up so fast and I realize how my family felt. We gotta appreciate every moment because one day they will be adults and gone. I can’t believe I’m old enough to have my own family but I still feel like a child myself 😂
My daughter's room has an "aesthetic" that she says I don't understand...and GenZ agrees with MOST things Billie Eilish talks about( if you agree with ALL she says, you're not a GenZ..."think for yourself" my kid says).

And yes I’m 25 and still refuse to adopt the trends of teenagers. Even as a teenager I didn’t understand why my peers acted that way. But Gen Z is too Babylon for me.
the thing is, I'm pretty sure I'm technically considered part of that generation, but I don't do anything that is the stereotypical Gen Z type person🤦♂️

Nah it’s all good, every generation feels that way but nothing bad ever happens. We were all kids once and we all get older. What’s considered “cool” is always shifting with time. It’s actually a lot of fun to watch tbh. If you don’t vibe with your generation, that’s totally fine, simply do and be whatever feels true to you. -signed a millennial human
@@Bianca-333 I agree. I love seeing them carve out their space. Take what we did and make it better. It looks different to us olds, but it’s a thing of beauty. Now, if we can just get them to learn to change their outlook on themselves instead of trying to protect everyone else.
