Brilliant, as usual Trevor. What a mixture and all I had was the pleasure of shopping. Oh and finally, God bless mothers and their kids. Well done mate, Steve.
You certainly had it all Trevor,I’m in locomotive envy with what you filmed. I really enjoyed watching the 86 ,I remember traveling behind them when I was younger. Andy
I enjoyed filming this Andy with all these movements going on to get the train ready for its trip to Whitby.Nice to see the 86 again as its been a while since i saw it up here.Glad you liked it Andy.......Cheers.....Trevor.''
Certainly worth going to catch this Ricky.....All this shuffling around with these loco's was quite entertaining.I do agree that the B1 does look great in it new livery.....Thanks for watching.....Trevor.''
A lovely collection of comings and goings again there Trevor. Great to see an 86 in original electric blue, immaculate condition too, however it somehow seems out of place in York, even though its been a possibility for over 30 years now. Theres something for everyone in this clip, LNER + BR steam, historic West Coast electics, freight, ECML passenger services...magic!!!
Yes Stu there was a lot going on as you can see.Not seen the 86 here for a while so it was nice to see it again.Liked the livery of the B1 after its paint job as well....Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed the footage........Regards....Trevor.''
Excellent video coverage from the Bridge Trevor and all the movements about the sidings. The B1 looks superb in the LNER lined black livery. Never seen the class 86 myself today with being at Station and NRM yard but it looks brilliant in your video. Cheers - Allan.
It was quite entertaining Allan with trains coming in and then coming out.Was nice to see the 86 again as i don't think it been up this way for a while.Yes and i two liked the livery on the B1.Glad you enjoyed it.....Cheers...Trevor..

Now that I found extremely interesting ad a great share Trevor with some classic footage to go down in history. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
Yes Matt it was great to get these trains together and interesting as you say to get two steamers and an electric together on this charter from London to Whitby .Glad you liked.....Cheers....Trevor.''
Birds singing , trains running , makes for some great sounds , especially when you got some steam included , and Royal Scotsman , passing by ...good day Trevor ..
Great bit of action at the bridge Dave with all these movements going on and some great loco's on show.Liked the livery on the B1.Glad you enjoyed it.....Trevor.''
Hi Steve....Was a very eventful morning as you can see with all these loco,s moving about the sidings to get the train out for Whitby.Glad you enjoyed the footage.....Cheers....Trevor.''
Great bit of entertainment with these great loco's on show Graham.86 259 was a bonus as not seen it here for a long time.......Thanks for the comment.....Trevor.''
@@TrevorLedgeway You are part of a community that raises the standard of RU-vid video making, Trevor. Every success to you and I look forward to seeing more!
40 years ago I spend many of my evenings over several years on that footbridge - or the old cattle dock under Holgate Bridge if it was raining.....good times.
Superb footage! Great vantage point, I guess this type of scene would have been commonplace on the WCML back in the 60s. All splendid machines in their own right. 86 seems a bit quieter than usual... but looking pristine as always!
I agree that it could be the 60s and wish it still was.always nice to see a bit of steam and it was great to see the Class 86 join the party.....Glad you enjoyed the footage......Trevor.''
Pleased with the entertainment at the bridge with all this swopping about to get the steamers on to the train.Loved the livery of the B1.Just managed to get the filming done and it started to rain so we were very lucky.....Glad you like Jeff......Regards...Trevor.''
Could'nt get much closer than that Trevor. Great action on this steamy affair I thought. Les Ross/Peter pan is stabled at Rugby just up the road from me.
I am intrigued as to where the operators find drivers with route and traction knowledge. For steam I assume there is always a "current" driver aboard - same for the 86 which seems to have a cab full.....
Plenty going on Peter with a lot of loco's swapping about after the 86 came in.After the steamers went the electric parked up for the day as was due to take the train back down south....Thanks.....Trevor.''
