it would be nice to be able to afford one one these. I been paralized for 18 years and been a hunter my whole life and love the beach but have not been able to be on a beach for 18 years wish there was a grant out there to buy one on these chairs

I spotted this on Facebook this morning. Blew my mind! Really! I have friends that this could benefit. I'm so glad for people who are gifted with inventive minds for whom there are no boundries - who are able to "think out-of-the-box."
Man I wish there were a way for me to get one. My kids would love going hiking and stuff with me. My manual wheelchair keeps me confined to paved surfaces:(
you cell phone somebody and dig into your survival pack. hey, in a regular wheelchair you are stuck almost all the time. rocks, stairs, hills, anything thats not flat. this is a LOT LESS stuck than a regular wheelchair. getting stuck in THIS means you're out doing stuff you can't do in a regular wheelchair. just dont go way out in the boonies without friends or be an idiot and you'll be fine. duh.
