I landed at my teenage self. I was stuck there. I couldn't go younger. And all I could think of is how much time I spent playing my guitar. I was 15-16, listening to my favorite bands on the radio. All while my parents ripped me apart for it. Pite made me keep playing and pushed me to prove them wrong. At 19, I opened for a band named Mushroomhead - one my friends and I listened to all the time. If anyone told me in high school that I'd share a stage with them before I was 20, I'd have laughed at the thought as ridiculous. But I did it. For reasons I cannot explain, the music in me died soon after. Then life caught up. Parenthood. Work. Responsibility. Injuries. Disability. Etc. And all came to a grinding halt when one of my children passed away and I just lost all motivation for any dreams I ever had. I had a blip of it come back in 2021. After 15 years of occasional picking, I took it back up and put more time in it in a year than I had in the 15 combined. But now I feel it fading again and I'm struggling to keep at it. I came across this video and through all the things I've done, skills I've had, things that brought me joy, the art, the old dream of my brothers and I opening a restaurant when we grew up...through all of that, this entire video only showed me with my long hair in my room in the attic plugged into my amp, my parents nowhere around so I could sink into it without their tearing me down. And when I asked him what made him happy, all he did was smirk and say "This right here" and busted out Anthrax's "Antisocial" and just...I guess I never saw myself like that before. And while I'm watching myself nail that song, I find myself bobbing my head and saying "Hell yeah, dude." Sorry for the length. I feel I could write a novela on it at this point. Thank you. I think I'll give my bass some love tomorrow (since it's almost 4am now) and see how it feels this time.

I was looking forward for this, looking for answers. I'm not sure what I did wrong. All I got was nothing. Seems I can't remember much before the age of 12. The only memories that came up were beatings, forsed to learn playing violin (looked good for church) hated every minute of it. If I didn't practice I was got the belt. I had no toys when I was growing up, had to help with my little sister's & brothers. I'm just crying after this meditation.

Wow, I wrote down all of my gifts before this and considered myself a “jack of all trades.” I noticed a common thread in it all. Funnily enough as a PhD candidate pursuing a doctorate in natural medicine, this meditation led me back to my first gift and first love which is photography and telling stories of humanity. I kept hearing “My gift of photography will fund my end goal of running my own practice one day.” This was veryyyyyy interesting. Thank you!

God why was I such an angry child this brought me into such an emotional state as I remembered so much of my childhood.

@Marisa Peer thank you. One question: does it matter if one falls asleep during a hypnosis like this? Sometimes when I get into a deeply relaxed state I drifted away for a while. Or is it even alright when one listens to this for 21days before going to sleep in bed already?

I really struggle with what is my gift. I've wanted to create a course, and I just can't think what it could be about. I've really worked on this for quite some time. why is this so hard to find??

I discovered that I have the gift of intuition but what do I do with it?

I am confused over my ”gift” if I go back to the 7-14 year old me, because I did five different sports, I wrote poems and novels, I designed newspapers and home decor at the computer, I played a lot of computer games, I started a café in the garden, I started a ”newspaper” and I played often ”radiospeaker” or danced, I got a lots of ideas and painted drawings. I Always had hundred things to do, and started new projects every day in different Fields, I am Totally confused and lost today about what my purpose or gift is. Can someone please help me ”lol” What is my gift? What Would you say?

Unfortunately, we moved alot when I was a kid. I went to 10 different schools/homes...I couldn't lock in 😢

This one wasn’t for me, besides going back to a horrible house/atmosphere, my younger self not impressed with what she sees meeting me, the only thing that made her happy was dance and choreography. Unfortunately now in my 60s with no way of doing that and not the health even if I could dance.

İ wanna ask you do we have to be best? Extraordinary, outstanding? İ do not thing so! A child do not look for that or chase of that. A child look to do what make her/ him happy. Not being the best is a child endavour. This are sorry but selling the product marketing tactics.if every body want to be the best, it might be much more egoistic people areound the planet and would be much more war.
