So why not install a downpipe as we talked about in a previous video, the active autowerke catted downpipe is a great option for your GR supra.we show you in detail how to remove and install your new downpipe! This combined with the Apexi N1-X exhaust is a great sound not raspy but a low good tone!

I thought that in CA, you cannot change the factory cat to aftermarket unless the vehicle has 100,000 or more miles on it.

Helpful video. Just a FYI it is pronounced (Apex) not apexi. The "i" is silent.

I’ve had 2 of these downpipes on my A90 Supra. Both produced a CEL in the first 100 miles. Has this happened to other customers?

Not sure what you had but the AA Downpipe does not get a CEL, Check your install, or reach out to the manufacture or where you bought it from.

@@Speedindustry *should not* not *does not* they had a bad batch recently. Mine was replaced with their guarantee. No production line is 100% error free. Their service is great though

Who’s installed this one? Has it popped a CEL yet or no? I ordered this DP from you guys so I’m looking forward to having it on the Supra.

@@flynnzero9282 I have it in the garage and have not installed it yet. I left my tune to keep the monitors on so I’ll definitely be able to see if the cel comes on or not. I’ll post in here the results. We’re snowed in at the moment sooo...

@@flynnzero9282 yea, Sir. I have a tune on mine. It’s a 2021 with an ECU of 26may2020. I used bootmod3 and went stage one. It’s Very nice!

CarGuy11 on an stock car. Meaning one with out out tune you can gain quicker spool up time and 25-40 on most of the catted Downpipes.

Is this louder than stock with the DP and exhaust? I am looking for something refined, but slightly louder than stock. I'd like to shift based on exhaust note, instead of glancing at my RPM. I feel like with stock, you need to monitor RPM while driving to get shifts right.
