I notice many users tend to dial to 12 o'clock at their active loudspeaker. Is this a proper Gain setup? Or should it be set to the maximum? Let's discuss in this video
Hey I have DBR15s they are on line level. Mixer is at unity but the speakers are toooo loud. The knob is from -Infinity to + 10 db. I have it at 0 (unity) Do I turn down the speakers or the main level faders?
If its a volume knob, set it to however you like. Excess volume can't harm or alter the signal. Gain is what you have to get right because too much will overdrive the input. If the system is just loud but not distorted, see if you have a useable range for your volume knob. If not, lower the gain until the volume is usable.
