In wrist flexion and extension, if you look at any anatomy book, it will say 70-75 degrees of flexion and extension is normal. While it may appear to move to 90-degrees, the actual motion is not 90 degrees. How do you derive your normal ROM of wrist flexion and extension?
Dear sir i ask u that my radius fractured occur on 24th October 2020 and doctor do a minor surgery and insert a pin external fixtator in my wrist and its open 28th November 2020 but till now i do physiotherapy on my hand but still face a problem in wrist flexion movement is not coming back properly its flexion a little now so please advice me what can i do .
You are going to have an excruciating painfull recovery. You need to painfull stretches to loosen up tendons and muscles. It will slowly get better. Many give up and lose rom and become stiff. Don't give up.
