Can you do a series where you do full skincare routine for people with: oily skin, dry skin, combination, etc. And recommend different types of products for each step. (Each skin type has their own videos)
If you keep on watching his video and titkoks where he recommends things to ppl, you'll see he basically does a routine for them in hopes of them watching and picking those products to use
To say in a way, if you have dry skin watch one of the routines he reacts to with a person with dry skin or vice versa which prolly won't be that hard cuz he reacts to a lot of ppl but anyway HOPE I HELPED 👾❤️
He can’t really do that because even within different skin types like oily, combination, dry, and normal there are a lot of variables, like sensitive skin, rosacea, acne scars, and other targeted issues that do not apply to everyone with the same skin type. So you just have to find what works for you. It’s not that hard.
Noturium uses so much vegetables such as turmeric in there products not only is turmeric bad to apply on the skin for sensitive people but it has no effect as an antioxidant in the skin? Antioxidants can’t thrive in the skin if theirs not a high percentage of the ingredient or if their isn’t a stabilizer to stabilize the ingredient in order to prevent free radicals. This skin care line puts in so many ingredients in their products that they don’t need instead it can cause irritation.I would avoid this if you have sensitive skin but if you don’t i would still avoid it because of time those ingredients can sensitize your skin.
@@jlz2978 HAHAHA dude same i have organized notes.. thats why i took a look at it and realized like...wtf hold up.. why am I not using this energy for my classes ??
angie c. To be honest I am afraid that if he ever does that, the products are going to be very expensive because he is very picky.. I am ok with the products he recommends because everyone can find the products that suit him Unlike brad mondo for example.. if you cannot afford his haircare line then you don't have any other options

Me when i see hyram: -he’s so awesome and kind hearted i wanna give him a big hug -oh wait it’s quarantine time -oh wait i literally live on the other side of the world
I agree. Beautiful baby blues. I am an older woman so I don’t know if it’s appropriate. But yes beautiful eyes. Nice package. I hope He finds a partner that can compliment the beauty that is Hyram.
Ive done so much research on this so I recommend: Day Routine - 1) Cleanser 2) Toner 3) Vitamin C Serum 4) Moisturizer 5) Sunscreen Night Routine - 1) Oil/Balm Cleanser {to take off makeup} 2) Regular Cleanser 3) Toner 4) Night Serum {the stuff he talked about/recommended in this video} 5) Moisturizer
Hyram has turned me into the crazy girlfriend that does my bf’s skincare routine for him because he thinks splashing water and wiping his face on a dirty towel is skin care 😫
Niacinamide - controls pigment, controls sebum, used during the day BHA = salicylic acid - exofolites right into the skin, pores are cleaned, used every other day at night Retinol - repairs damage from sun and ageing skin, fine lines & hyper pigmentation, dry before treatment AHA = Alpha hydroxy - getting rid of dead skin cells, used at night, 3/4 a week HA= hyaluronic acid - draws moisture from environment to plump it Vitamin C - brightening dark spots, antioxidant, contains ascorbic acid which is sensitive to the sun You’re welcome ✨
Ive been watching some skincare videos and I heard that you can use niacinamide once daily if you have oily skin to maintain the oil, if you have dry skin you can use it twice a day
@@farhanayeasmin4389 to my understanding niacinamide goes with most of the serum! I use it with retinol at night, with my exfoliating and with Hyaluronic acid and also use vitamin c with Hyaluronic acid
I am literally watching this a second time to write notes. This is so helpful, thank you. I've been looking at trying a retinol, but have been scared, particularly as there is so much conflicting information about when to use them and what you can use them with. I feel like I need an excel spreadsheet!
Hyram PLEASE make some videos about skincare routines for mature skin ❤️❤️❤️ I wanna help my parents figure out what’s best for them. I know it’s best to start skincare early to prevent signs of aging, but what do you do once you’ve already aged? Love ur videos skincare king ❤️✨🌸
Hyram in the morning just starts my whole day off in the right direction and I smile and help strangers all day long….I dunno what it is but his voice just makes me wanna be my best self ✨✨✨
I'm in my mid-20's and completely new to this; upgrading from my basic (cetaphil or BHA, sometimes AHA) cleanser, moisturizer and SPF routine and terrified of burning my face off with actives. This really helped. Thank you!
I love that Hyram has established trust with everyone so that when he’s sponsored by a brand, we know he actually supports their products and philosophy. I normally roll my eyes when I hear “this video is sponsored by”... but when Hyram says it, I immediately trust that it’s a good brand!
Literally just came to RU-vid to seek Hyram’s advice on combining actives and he posted this video seven minutes ago. He’s a mind-reader, a hero, he’s beauty and he’s grace, he’s miss United States
Everytime I hear the “every single week” i just can’t help it but smile :) I love you and your helpful videos! You’re amazing Hyram!! Thanks a lot ❤️❤️
This was SO helpful and informative. I was so overwhelmed with all the skincare craziness out there and this just calmed me down and helped me decide what I really need. Thank you so much Hyram
My skin has improved so much since watching Hiram that I like how I look with no makeup so much better! I've always been a real skin care junkie since I was 12!!! BUT, I knew nothing! I've simplified so much and have found a true love for Cerave, The ordinary and Cetaphil! Who knew?!
My Niacinimide serum by The Ordinary actually recommends that it not be used in the same routine as Vitamin C or to alternate for AM use. I tried it anyway of course and my skin was BURNING. So I immediately washed it all off. That’s just my take :)
Grace Melissa the combo of vitamin c and niacinimide i think it’s cause niacinimide rises the levels of acidity in acidic products (vitimain c for example) which can cause chemical burns and ish.
You can use it with vitamin c, just not PURE vitamin c. Though it also depends on yous skin sensitivity too. It's fine for me since my skin is more resilient I guess and I usually wait until either the vitamin c or niacinamide is fully absorbed as they deact when mixed.
Can you do a video on the differences between Purging & Breaking out..? Not sure if this is worthy of a video or if you’ve already talked about this but I feel like a lot of people tend to give up on products to early because they think purging is the same as breaking out.
I appreciate your honesty for the products sponsored in this video. It's rare to see someone say that a product doesn't work for them, but still can recommend the brand because of the ingredient lists. It is important to say that everyone's skin is different and has different tolerances.
I’ve literally watched 20 hours of your videos this week. I love your natural and “less is more” approach to skincare! 🙌🏼 I just moved from Cleveland Ohio to Houston Texas and the change in weather, humidity, etc is putting my skin THROUGH IT. It’s been super oily and I’ve had awful breakouts since moving. I was treating it with harsh masks and astringents to try and dry it out, but after watching your videos (and a serious Ulta haul) I’m trying a new approach and keeping my fingers crossed for the best 🤞🏼 If anyone has recommendations I’d love to hear them 😊🧼💗
I was actually wondering about this since I've been using the ordinarys niacinamide and Paula's choice 2% bha, my skin does seem to like it but it all depends on the day oddly enough. Thanks for another great video Hyram! 💕
Same! I just added the Paula’s choice 2% to my routine and I love it! But I am wondering if it may be too much. The packaging says you can use daily so that’s what I’ve been doing but he brings up a great point that it may be too much. I don’t know but would love his take on that!
Do not, I repeat, please do not follow this video. Do your own research. Any acids will turn niacinamide into a chemical called niacine because of the pH difference. It can, in some cases, even cause niacine rush (redness). Xoxo
I am so glad I watched this because I was just about to add a retinol to my night time routine and didn't realize it wasn't something you use every night! I am super new to skin care and only recently have been getting serious about it. I have been watching so many of you videos and learning a lot! Thank you for putting all this information out there!
Hii Hyram! I know this comment is VERY late but im currently in Dermatology school and you and Cassandra Bankson have helped me out so much! My school also has us watch your and Cassandra's videos! Love you Hyram ❤❤
I also watch Dr. Dray on RU-vid (I believe you’ve mentioned her before as well) and she has mentioned that salicylic acid has been should to degrade tretinoin and therefore may not play well with other retinols but this is unknown for sure. She recommends using the BHA in the morning and the retinol at night or not on the same days. Just another thing to consider. It’s the only product combination restriction I’ve heard that’s not just, might cause irritation but may actually affect effectiveness. Just something else to think about! Great Video 😁
Can you PLEASE make a detailed video about all these Actives and their percentages? Like what they range from....What is considered low/high/ideal and in all the forms they come in? 🤪 What to look for in a product? Seems to be be the missing piece for me when I’m out shopping and see different percentages on things and don’t know what to make of them. Love you and thank you!!!
Been watching for awhile. Cassandra Bankson, James Welsh and You , are my fav. I just watched your” coming out”. and getting away from Mormon b.s.. I am sorry for what you dealt with , cause of your church/ family. Although difficult, it was necessary for you to become a success and the very adorable, funny, knowledgeable young man you are today. Between you, Hyram, Cassandra Bankson, James Welsh.... the three of you take up hours of my day. I enjoy / learn / and educate myself daily. I am also old enough to be your mom / grandma. My age however, won’t stop me from learning from you and the other two influencers. I am happy that young people have people like you to educate them. I didn’t have that when your age. Keep up the great work and thank you for teaching this old bird great things. Stay genuine, be you, cause you are perfect.🥰
Hyram, I just wanted to say that I’m so in love with your personality! Regardless of what video I watch if yours, listening to you just makes my heart happy. Thank you for doing what you do & stay blessed & safe. ❤️
I have been using the ordinary niacinamide for just 3 days and it has already made a difference! Scars are definitely lighter and my skin is just overall so soft and feels much healthier and less oily! 10000% recommend ❤️❤️✌️
I use retinol every night. And just recently, like a couple months ago, I started using the 2%BHA. Of course i didnt think to not use them at the same time. Lol. No wonder my skin breaks out a little whenever I use the BHA. Its because I'm using it with the retinol. Makes sense. I'll start alternating them from now on. See if that works. Thank you!
Hyram ILY I just switched my skin care routine, I’m breaking out a little but I’m one of ur vids u said that was normal. And After three weeks it’s not supposed to make me break out more correct??
“I don’t know what muscle group this is but” YOU LITERALLY KILLED ME BY NOW BY THESE DEADLY FUNNY JOKES STOPP BEING SO CUTE AND FUNNY LOVE U AND IM EARLU YASS BISHS
For those that use Tretinoin (0.1%): I used one night with a salicylic acid spot treatment (the one by the ordinary) and it gave my skin a chemical burn and had to use an ointment to heal it properly. I have been using Tretinoin for about 4 years and this happened about a year ago. Just some information for those in the same situation!
Hyram can you review Formula 10.0.6. They just dropped a new vitamin line and I'm thinking of buying it but I want to know if its approved (please like this so he might see it.... ik he wont but its worth a shot)
I have combo-dry sometimes dehydrated skin and live in a dry climate during winter months.... but I LOVE hyaluronic acid. It is a staple in both my AM & PM routines. No sacrifices. All I do is apply it immediately after cleansing when my face is still damp. Yes, even before my toner. One of my favourites is The Ordinary's Marine Hyaluronics because it applies like a water and thus absorbs just like it, too. Ive also found Hyaluronic Acids extremely beneficial in preventing unwanted irritation, dryness, or tightness from using acids and Retinol when applied before said products. Some people sandwich Retinol between moisturizers, but I do it between HA and moisturizer. I use acids and actives very regularly in my routine, and I've NEVER experienced irritation, dryness, or anything of the sort since doing this... Whereas my daily Salicylic Acid treatment used to leave my moisturized skin dehydrated and tight feeling. Hyaluronic Acid for the win! PS has anyone noticed drugstore brands now promoting 'science' in their ads these days?! I saw a L'Oreal commercial the other day discussing HA and they're like "it's science" 😂😂😂 Get with the times! Youre a little late to the game!
This is it! This is the video I needed to tie all of the knowledge I got from your channel together ❤️ feels like godlike revelation!! Thnaks so much Hyram! You are by far my favorite youtuber ever!
Question:Most acids are supposed to be applied on dry skin whereas hyaluronic is only effective when used on damp skin.Any suggestions on how to combine them both plus what’ s the proper order? P.S. you’ re the best ♥️
This video is soo genuine as he didn't know then that Naturium is Susan Yara's skincare line although he's always genuine as it relates to sponsored videos 💕
So Hyram, can you make a video about your thoughts for this brand now after the scandalous incident? Pretty sure you were not knowing Naturium was owned by Susan Yara when you filming this video. But I think we want to see what's your thoughts for the brand now, are you still using the products or gonna recommend this to other people? Please let us know, love your videos as always xx
Same thoughts and sentiments as well, but I noticed on his latest video that he's removed Naturium from his shelf which got me investigating this whole thing lol
Gwen D but he should say something. He said something about drunk elephant 🐘 when he stopped talking about them because of how they treated their customers. And he was never (that I am aware of sponsored by them. He was promoting Naturium. Some of his fan base was hurt. What drunk elephant did was rude. What Susan did was illegal. He does not have to “cancel” her but Hyram is so big on transparency it’s really sad he has not addressed it he even talked about Susan in his harper's bazaar go to bed with me video, but did not mention this :( Hyram please say something 💔
Thank you so much for making this video and sharing your knowledge with us! I was so confused before this video. I understand the ingredients and products I need but was totally confused how to use them together to develop a simple and safe skin routine. You have saved me so much trouble, thank you so much! You’re amazing! 🤗
So disappointed because I was actually interested in purchasing the Vitamin C Super Serum! She also falsely markets her product line as vegan. Shame. Hyram would never.
I have this problem a lot with the products he recommends, I recently tried to order something he recommended ( I don’t remember what it was) and I was so excited but then I went on the link and looked online and it wouldn’t ship to Canada. I was so disappointed. I think a lot of them are product you get at Walmart and target but they r not the same in Canada
This is a great video Hyram. It’s really helped me, I use Vitamin C in the morning with a hyaluronic acid serum, and evening I use Niacinamide serum and alternate between a retinol and a glycolic acid.
This is exactly what I'm thinking of doing! 🙌🏻 Do you mind me asking if you have acne prone skin? If so, what % of aha and of retinol did you use when you started? Thanks!
Inês Teixeira I don’t, I’ve been lucky with my skin! I use the Revolution skincare Glycolic Acid toner in 5%, and The Ordinary Niacinamide and Retinol serums!
I really wanna start using a retinol cuz I feel like it could really help my skin but it’s so intimidating to me I’m just watching all of Hyram’s videos about it
Same! I bought differin 10 days ago and still haven’t opened it. There’s a lot of other skincare products I want to try, but I feel like if I use retinol, I can’t use anything else. Also the “retinol purge” phase scares me.
@@shleymo differin is really drying so make sure to have a really good moisturizer. I use to use it and it made my skin so irritated and dry but it got rid of my acne so thats a plus
@@kayaward6506 Thank you! I actually decided to hold off on differin for now. I don’t have acne, but wanted to use it for its other benefits like anti-aging. I decided to try some other products first. If those don’t work well for me, I’ll try differin.
@@abigailfitzgerald724 I don't think he knew the brand was hers, he said on Instagram that he did not know until June 15th or whatever when she recorded their reactions, so he just received the sponsorship without knowing who founded it
Finley is right. According to James Welsh it sounds like they were in contact with the other co-founder Ben, if anyone. They didn’t know Susan was involved until the recorded meetings last week when she told them
Sarah Davis it was filmed on June 19, you said so yourself. James Welsh stated on Instagram that he and, as far as he knows, everyone else had no idea about the vitamin C video or the Facebook post. There’s a reason he said when it was filmed, obviously he was implying he would not have it on his shelf now.
@@maunikachintala6132 I know i cant buy easily ordinary products. So il buy brands from india itself. I used Niacinamide from suganda brand. Bha from minimalist brand. There r enough products where we can buy from our indian products oly. U just need to know about formula or ingredients in it.
