Forest is now a little more than five months old and, while he’s a super good boy, he’s also very busy just like most puppies are. It’s important for all of us dog owners to remember that our furry friends need to be mentally stimulated just as much as physically stimulated. With that in mind, here are the three things I do (well, four if you count the bonus tip!) on a regular basis to help satisfy some of his mental needs as well as his physical needs. Hope these tips help you do the same!

About Forest: A Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Forest loves eating treats, destroying toys, learning new things, and snuggling as often as he can, but there’s so much more for me to learn about his likes and dislikes and so much more for him to learn about the world. For now, we’re taking it one step at a time.
About Kayla: I began training dogs in 2008, starting with raising puppies to be future service dogs and fell in love with the human-canine connection. Over the last several years, I’m thankful to have had the chance to help train service dogs, therapy dogs, compete in Obedience and Rally, and introduce people to the dog sports I love.
Thank you for watching this video! It would mean a lot to me if you subscribed and joined Forest, Maya, and me on all of our future canine-related adventures.
