How can you be asking if her hair is hers? Even as black women, you know you don't like someone asking you that. That's disrespectful. Distasteful. Disrespecting someone, you just open yourself back to the person to disrespect and criticize you.

That was a silly question from the lady interviewer I don't know were this people got their training from even the word she used" breed" is very insulting common channels you can do better than this.

Even if she wanted to know, proper etiquette says you don't ask that on camera, in front of the whole world, unless she's trying to put her out there, and that's how it comes across.

Abeg make una no worry our Nigerian interviewers. We ARE a homogenous racial society. So as much as there is no bigotry or issue with our mixed-race Nigerians, that is not for us to keep track of. So yeah she say mixed-breed because well, that's not us. Nothing untrained about that. Thats why she'd say something like the first language we have is English. And I'm not even Yoruba.

The British will use the appropriate phrase ‘mixed heritage or mixed race’. ‘Mixed Breed’ is derogatory as it was used by the Slave masters for their eugenics exploits. As black people, we need to educate ourselves about Slavery and Colonisation. It is disappointing that the term was used on international TV studio.

I personally think the lady didn’t mean anything bad and l think Aduni herself will understand. She might have used the wrong choice of words but she didn’t mean the guest no harm. Its seems like everyone of them was delighted to interview her.

The female presenter is so disrespectful, asking a guest what breed she is (she is not an animal). The other day, she asked another guest about being "effeminate". She needs more schooling and exposure. It is not okay to use derogatory words on people on any platform. Please do better.

The fact that you learnt about the vocabulary "breed" through conversations about animals doesn't mean it is used only or more for animals. Haven't you heard phrases like "born an bred in Nigeria..." before? Let's be calming down.
