Potter joins us on the Crossmap Podcast to talk about whether he prefers playing a bad guy over a good guy. Listen as he shares what he has learned about Jesus that he never knew before doing this show.
Nailed the character! The Quintas character is unforgettable. Perfect in every unexpected way! Hearing the behind the scene story of the character is fascinating.
Brandon Potter is an endearing bad guy. He seems so genuine even when he makes bad decisions. And his apparent shock and remorse with Ramah was a special touch. Thanks for the interview.
Brandon Potter, you are truely blessed with being able to bring Quintas to life. I do not know your faith or even you have such, but I do know that you were guided to be in this [ The Chosen ] for a reason, and I am so happy to have found The Chosen, cause it has changed my life in a time of my life where I lost so much, and was having trouble dealing with issues and needed help, and there THE CHOSEN was. And I saw all of you. God bless you, and thank you.
It still amazes me how much Brandon reminds me of the actor, John Delancie. It's mainly his voice and the way he speaks. That said, I think that THE CHOSEN fills a huge vacuum in the media world as well as the world at large. As Brandon stated, you don't have to be Christian to appeal to people. It does bring the Message of the Gospels to others who might not be able to hear it. ❤ Pax vobisicum.
Quintas is my favorite character on the show! Your voice, looks and what you have done with Quintas is fantastic! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy this character! You make a perfect villain! I mean that as a compliment! Love the pink jacket, too! May God bless you, Brandon!
You do have a magnificent voice, Brandon! I’m a church singer and would love to sing with you. I also sing low being an alto!! Your acting is incredible and Quintas is one of my top favorite roles. Be well and God bless you!!
Brilliant Actor...loved and felt sorry really for Quintius...he was in a hard position and though he loved his job....he was also scared to death of what would happen if he failed...and that is hard dealing with daily...
Brandon (Quintas) has an infectious smile. He is great as Quintas. The casting is perfect in this case. I found him so intriguing. I loved his meeting, first meeting, with Jesus.
Love the pink jacket; I can see people in the camera crew saying, "YOU gonna tell him? I'M not gonna tell him..." Seriously, I hope the character of Quintus shows up again before the series is finished -- I've been enjoying Potter's performance.
You did great in the series, Brandon. Sorry you are done. You know, you remind me a lot of Q from Star Trek. Hope that may be in your future. Indeed your voice is gold. Hope you can do more voice work. Also, check out LukeRanieri who is a Latin fluency and Roman culture instructor. Your age and bald too. Who knows, maybe you will do more Roman roles. Hint hint. Good luck!
How could Jesus’ brother James not believe in who he was? He had to see the signs and he had to have some influence from his mother Mary who saw and believed.
