Really? I thought the ending was awesome. But the last season was not up to par with the first 4 seasons. Without a real nemesis for Heisenberg, it didn't stack up. Gincarlo Esposito ruined us with Gus I think. We were so used to that dynamic between them, Gus being such a perfect antagonist, that those nazi gang guys just kind of came out of nowhere to be the big enemy in the last couple of episodes. Don't get me wrong, the actual ending was just pure class all the way. But the fact that those nobody nazi douchebags did more damage just to Jesse than had been done to him throughout the whole rest of the show combined, showed that they had either taken the show 1 season too far, or had killed Gus a season too early. Gus should have been Walt and Jesse's big bad for the "felina"
@@w0bbl3r I thought the Nazis were the weakpoint of the season as well and it really was about Hank/Walt/Jesse keeping my interest for 5, but yes it wasn't as good as the Gus/Walt/Jesse/Hank storyline. I will say though that the finale completely won me back and going back to save Jesse felt really good and fitting to end on...it was a really good finale, the climax ended in season 4 and that's okay.
The ending was perfect actually the whole series was perfect but I would’ve been more great if walt and jesse talked a bit more and hugged that would’ve been so great to be apat from this characters but anyways what we saw eventually was satisfying too and i cried in the end as well
@@stevennalmz How is it pussyish to fear losing family? Walter didn't want sh*t to happen to his family SINCE THE VERY BEGGINING, it makes sense to be scared and desperate.
Honestly my favorite moment is when he breaks into Elliot and Gretchen's house and confronts them fully embracing his Heisenberg persona, it's was so bad ass and sadisfying
Michael Kilmester The episode where Gus threatens to kill Walt's entire family and when he finds out that Skylar gave all his money to Ted. Nothing but chills watching that episode
Juan Chavez I so agree. Another one of my favourite is "Granite state". And the scene where Walt is at the bar and watches the Charlie Rose interview of his old friends.
Stacking Benjies why do people keep saying this? You obviously dont hate the last episode, so why are you saying love and hate? You simply dont like the fact that it ended but you dont dislike the episode ya dumb fuk
There are no bad episodes of Breaking Bad, but Ozymandias is the best. It's such an emotional journey; it leaves me wiped out by the end, no matter how many times I watch it.
Ozymandias, everything about it, the opening flashback to the first cook, Hank, Walt telling Jesse about Jane, pushing the barrel home and seeing his pants from ep 1 in fhe desert, the confrontation with Skyler and Walt Jr and then my absolute favorite, Walt calling Skyler at the end... Bryan's acting actually made me weep like a baby on my couch...I felt so bad for Walt and knew everything was coming to an end for him and the show, that's when it hit me.... simply incredible storytelling! I loved every moment of it.
I agree, the last episode is king, but there are many amazing moments. I grew up near the breaking bad house (in the background of my google pic) and it was surreal to see so much of that series take place in my neighborhood.
I don' t really remeber the crawl space episode, but the final scene in which walter snapped and kept laughing hysterically as if he's lost his mind, is my favourite one.
Still cant get over how good this series was. Wish i could forget it all and watch it all again. Its actually amazing, the twist and turns the symbolic messages leading up to events, the acting, the storyline, everything is perfect in it.
Did anyone else note that "Felina" is an anagram of "Finale?" Hard to pick a fave, though "Felina" was at least near the top. SPOILER: My favorite situation was in "Felina" when the laser "sights" train onto Gretchen and Elliott. Their reaction is priceless, as is Walt's orchestration of it. I loved the reveal of Skinny and Badger when he asks for his laser pointers back. But... I've watched other scenes over and over, esp. the buildup to Gus' "Face-off." Did anyone else get the food reference to Gus' last name, "Fring?" Happens to be one of my favorite sides. I took it as a pseudonym, as Gus strictly hid his Chilean background. Only Don Eladio seemed to know Gus' true past.
Felina is also a reference to El Paso by Marty Robbins, where a cowboy rides back into town for someone he loves even though his death is certain. And I'm sure you can see the relation there
I really don't blame people when they say that "Ozymandias" is their favorite episode of Breaking Bad. But i have to agree with Bryan here, and go with "Felina" as my personal favorite episode.
Felina is my favourite episode too. The other episodes mentioned here are wonderful as well - there's so many excellent episodes on this show - but I'm with Bryan Cranston, I'd pick Felina.
id say the last two episodes but as one, mainly because it really couldve been one episode as like a TV movie, but was split down the middle cause of the tone and plot shift the wind down was beautiful, from that huge 14th episode and this amazingly constructed granite state, with the perfect perfect ending to then also kick off the finale. really its masterclass, and its definitely my favourite to not only watch but think about + great music choices
I suspect that most of us, however, feel that The Fly episode is our least favorite. Whenever I rewatch the series, seriously, I have to just skip that one, since I'd rather watch paint dry...
I'm glad that even Bryan Cranston himself thinks Felina is the best episode. Ozymandias is obviously widely regarded as the best episode and for good reason but for me personally Felina takes the cake.
Lee will somberly tell her that she cannot have the gun (Determinant), but she continues to beg for it. Desperate, she lunges at Carley in order to take it from her. Lee and Glenn try to pry her off of Carley, but the balcony collapses beneath them and they all fall to the parking lot below. Lee recovers and sees Irene placing the barrel of the gun to the side of her head.
There’s so many phenomenal episodes. Maybe Ozymandias, I remember after watching that and just thinking to myself “that was some of the most entertaining and thrilling episodes of tv I have ever seen.” As far as moments the ending to Crawl Space has always been up there. I also loved the scene when Walt comes out of nowhere and runs over the dealers before Jesse gets himself killed. I mean I could go on and on but yeah. Lol

are you serious?? it's difficult to choose but... CRAWL SPACE. Where is the money??? And that laugh... I remember when I watched for the first time, the credits ended and I was still stucked to my sofa, watching the black screen, trying to process the magnificent of the final scene and the actors
Right. And the reason behind making it, a "bottle episode," to stay under budget. I didn't know that for a long time. For a bottle episode to be that awesome and intense--amazing writing, acting, directing.
There wasn't one bad episode of BB. That's how phenomenal the show was. It's hard to pick just one episode, but One Minute is probably one of my favourites.
