One of the Best Series ever. Im French,first time I saw it was on a Sunday night of February 2002 and very first Episode was broadcast in France with Ortolani. I thought it was a TV Movie,I recorded it on VHS .Then it broadcasted months later,2 and 3 Episodes.Then I realized it was a Series. But it stopped at the end Season 2 as audience complained of the time broadcasting ,it was too late. Normal,its a violent show and forbidden for under 16. I watched the whole Show from Season 4 on RU-vid in 2007.

I love Harold's description of his character. He gave the audience a break from the violence. One of the things i love about OZ is how after a characters storyline each episode he essentially becomes a background extra the rest of the show.

Oz is legit one of my favorite shows of all time it’s just incredible amazing absolutely love it so hard and so much fantastic acting and this guy was the best. I loved all of his monologues so beautifully performed and written.

Oz doesn't get the respect it deserves, i just did another watch through. Without the success of oz we dont get the wire sopranos game of thrones dexter etc etc etc. Still holds up so well

@@hareemobduljawonI live in the UK so we don't have Max over here but I've been lucky enough to see most of HBO's best shows (The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, Banshee, Rome, Band Of Brothers, Sharp Objects, Oz, Tokyo Vice etc). HBO is king of premium drama series, no doubt 👑

The late Luke Perry who played a crooked minister was cinder blocked in a wall but got free when the cafeteria blew up and ended up with 3rd degree burns Doesn't happens every day.

It's wild to me how similar he sounds to DMX... his pace, intonation, pronunciation (especially) there's even a big of a rough tone like X (obviously not as rough), but God damn....knowing that he listened to Biggie to help him articulate a scene in Romeo+Juliet, he's probably a hip-hop head and could bust out a mean DMX impression.

I need to re-watch Oz... i remember it blowing my mind when it came out. The only episode I dont think I could watch now is the one where Beecher's son is mutilated and killed. I've got kids of my own now and I don't think I could handle that part😢

Within the first 3 seasons of Oz, they had a Soprano's crossover. Tony's son was on an episode, but he was as himself. So, in Oz, The Soprano's is a show on HBO.

I loved his character but the one thing I never found believable about him was that he was a cop killer. I wish they made his character's crime more believable to the actor who played him. Harold seems too nice to pull off cop killer.
