Actor John Frank Hughes talks about the challenge of playing Wild Bill Guarnere in the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers. Hughes was at a 2011 fundraising event in Lancaster, PA, on June 6, 2011
R.I.P Wild Bill Guarnere. It's a shame you passed away but hey, If you think about it. Guarnere's up in heaven right now playing Baseball with all of his old friends. Luz, Welsh, Randlemen, Winters, Sobel, All of them.
when did William Guarnere pass away? I was airborne when I was in the Army. I hope our nation him and all the men and women of the "Greatest Generation" My dad serverd in an armored division in WWII. He'll be 90 yrs old in Nov. to this day he won't talk about it. These people hopefully will never be forgotten.
Rest In Peace Sgt. Guarnere. Job well done Solider. Now go be with your brothers that went before you. I just know he's getting full honors passing through the pearly gates. I could only hope to be 1/4 the man he was.
look how diffrent. Frank John Hughes looks now. see him in the soprano/s he looks 50 it dont even look like him .Band of Brothers best war flick ever .period
As the father of an actor who has the "gift of dialects" I was amazed how well Mr. Hughes got into character and his dialect change from his normal speaking voice. Great job sir.
Frank John Hughes played two iconic parts "Wild Bill" Guarnere and the man who took down Frank Leotardo, before his SUV crushed his skull, on The Sopranos If he never does any notable work again, that is still quite a resume.
20 years in the can! Eatin' grilled cheese off a radiator. Jerking off into a tissue. WHATEVEA HAPPENED THERE???? THAT FUCKIN' ANIMAL. I CAN'T EVEN SAY HIS NAME!!!
