why dont you just make this channel a bollywood channel, every other video i see is interviewing bollywood celebrities who have barely cleared high school education, what level of intellectual conversation can you have from them?. They are not role models for our future generations. Pls bring influential people from science, technology, arm forces, secrete agencies.
Kajol looks very easy on the surface and bubbly but at the same time she also is guarded about her privacy and quite smart in the way she protects it. An intelligent woman though again dexterous with words and not easy to be open with. Ranveer did a great job in steering the conversation towards the underside of celluloid life. So kudos to Ranveer👏👏👏
Brother I can't imagine anyone else being able to handle the situation and entire conversation with so much of ease despite it being so difficult and tensed. It shows how much you have evolved with your mind.
We forget people like Kajol, SRK & Devgn are from a different generation. They were the stars of their time and are used to not being so open about themselves in public. So it's no surprise she was guarded.
good actor and acting does not have any generation gap - human emotions are eternal only the background changes. If you see films of Nutan, you will realize what it means.
Kajol is so real and natural.......she definitely fills her own bucket...and Ranveer is not able to spill even a drop.Kajol is the only one he has not been able to impress with his philosophical and mystical tools. She is not insecure like most celebrities and the host tries every angle to engage her ..but fails.....but is brave enough to keep his efforts going without realising she owns herself and has her own logical personal philosophy.
She's like sitting there and thinking in her head, like it's beneath her to be here. She always had that superiority complex ..which I think is because she's underneath an insecure person, in a loveless marriage wirh no career ro sepak of but box office hits that happened not because of her. Why else she needed to say three times I love my life😅 like she's trying to convince herself. And her daughter oh my god. Her hindi she's a mini kajol in making wo used to make statements in 90s I only watch English movies. Fu. Being a hindi actress for saying that. She's just lucky to be born with a silver spoon, has never worked hard in her life and has kI admit a gifted talent of acting which is most likely inherited. So stop being a pain and acting like you're all that. You don't matter unless you're a nice person which your interviews clearly show you're not. You're just witty and sarcastic and should just stay at home if that's how you say you got fair😂😂😂😂
I’ve never heard a Kajol interview. She was a major part of my life in the 90s. She is my fav person after this interview - funny, wity, deep, thoughtful, intelligent and warm. What an amazing person 👍
That sweat shows your MEHHNAT. It didn't spoil your outfit. I have never seen you laughing and enjoying any podcast like this before. It was a great one.
Thank you for having her in your podcast. As a Kajol fan of many many years, I honestly did not feel she was being difficult. I can see why it may be a challenge to keep up with her amazing energy, rawness and honesty, but that’s Kajol for you. I have seen her in many other interviews and she’s consistently like this: direct, funny, generous, honest, expansive, and yes, super raw and unedited. That’s her. I don’t think she behaved differently in this interview than others, which of course does not mean it may not be a challenge for those who are not as familiar with her or may for some reason or another find her to come off as too strong. Also, I think that as a celebrity, she has a public persona that she manages, which also means she has a private side that she may or may not choose to show and has the right to protect. If the ice never broke I don’t think it’s because she was being difficult but simply because she (like any other celebrity or interviewee) does not owe it to us to melt it and show it all. She maintained control at all times while being generous and open, and I truly applaud her for that. Again, thank you for having her in your show and being so nice and open with her. Will look forward to future interviews of yours with her.
So true ! Also she’s an actress… her job is just act not share her personal or private life so I’m not sure why people are expecting her to share things outside her work as most actors choose not to share that
Saw a very different side of Kajol WHICH I HAVE NEVER SEEN ALL THESE YEARS. You succeeded Ranveer in this podcast to bring out her hidden side! Loved her!!
Being a beauty with brains even at such age,Kajol still catches our hearts in awe by expressing her mind to the audience. Her mind is full of amazing ideas which makes her even more attractive and very spectacular to watch and interesting to listen.
She's like sitting there and thinking in her head, like it's beneath her to be here. She always had that superiority complex ..which I think is because she's underneath an insecure person, in a loveless marriage wirh no career ro sepak of but box office hits that happened not because of her. I felt this interview got rather a tough one for Ranveer gradually....n Kajol just so smart n talked sense..n that's why she landed those iconic films as she said... saying right things at right places to right ppl...👍👍
Didn’t feel that Kajol was guarded or difficult to have a conversation with, in fact she made a lot of sense. She literally called out the interviewer on his BS. Smart woman.
It's not BS. 😂 the podcast is shd be insightful and have some sort of depth. That's why it is not called an interview. Thats what differentiates the two. Ranveer was asking for depth. Kajol being Kajol ; tantrum queen refuse to open up as she has pent up anger within herself. Such an intimidating enrgy jeez!!
She’s so humble yet so down to earth friendly it’s a rare thing to find in a 90s actress and her body of work plus her career graph has some of the classic cult movies DDLJ Gupt and etc she’s there out there ruling the world with her happiness and her joy to spread with her fans n all I’m just so happy for her may we see this beautiful soul more in this coming year

Omg after watching the whole podcast I have realised that kajol made it so difficult for ranveer But heads off to him he carry forward the show for one hour Awsm
@@Ramalkhuna Just because you don't understand someone's sarcasm doesn't mean that they are rude. Stop trying to see everything in so black and white.
Well, the fact that what she assumed about this show is wrong. Even the title is. And it's not even a promotional show. The title is Podcast with Kajol. Funny and unfiltered like never before. Soo, she isn't familiar with a podcast but she is familiar with the clicks and just ask question get answer method, meaning interviews. So she thought it's an interview that she can't open up, but she ended up opening up, at least a little. Anyways. She tried but couldn't roast the host 😂
We don’t get to see unique looking charming actresses anymore these days, everyone is focusing on same kind of looks, same big lips, v jaw lines, jawline reconstruction, sharp noses, buccal fat removals, chin implants etc etc … this takes away the charm of the women these days and they all start to look like one another…that’s one of the reasons also why Bollywood actresses these days have Lost their charm and they just look nothing but like instagram models…
It's so great of you to accept as it wasn't an easy conversation, it shows how courageous and strong you are ranveer, I love and recieve a lot from watching your podcosts, Kajol thoughts on meditation made it so simple and doable.
Hats off Ranveer ! You showed what you are made of. The person in front of you is superior in every term, more in experience, but you did a great job to make this podcast sound like an interesting conversation. It was really intimidating to imagine myself sitting in your place to chat with such a superstar. Words like "money", and "lights" reminded me of interviews of stars that I read in film magazines 20 years ago, which I think does not go well in 2022-23 in RU-vid and Instagram world. But you have justified that at the end of this video. Also, around after 50 minutes one could sense you have broken the ice. It was really more fascinating after 50 mins. Hats off to you Ranveer ! Hope to see and hear another interesting and inspiring episode with her.
What makes her "superior" by the way. The fact that she was born with silver spoon made friends with kara johar got movies which made a lot of money which had nothing to do with her. The only thing she has is bit of acting talent which is inherited and wit. She's never used that talent properly to earn any respect. She's never worked hard enough to prove herself. Only time paas roles in hit johari movies.
Its always tricky to interview someone like Kajol who takes up the centre-stage, headstrong, supremely confident and proud about every aspect of her life being extremely opinionated about everything. As an interviewer you have to always agree with her opinions in order avoid being at loggerheads, and awkwardness and ranveer you managed that well.
Kajol makes feel human and compassionate and so real. she has amazing energy yet it might seem not to everyone’s liking. thank you, Ranveer for bringing her :)
She's like sitting there and thinking in her head, like it's beneath her to be here. Kajol is just not meant for this type of deep interviews. She's so so guarded and almost in a world of her own. Not blaming her. She has every right to be herself.. But ranveer you should have tried a different tone for this interview. Kajol is one of those rare people who has a lot to talk but not a lot to say. So if I was hosting her I would keep it to topics that she loves and is open to speaking on. After seeing her for so long it's easy to say, she is just like a storm. She has a strength in her that whatever happens she won't change herself for it. I admire that trait in her. Not a lot of people have that.
She has come only to promote her movie, she is nowhere fit to be part of intellectual podcast...pls avoid getting such people ... However you were great as usual Ranveer 👍
Finally Kajol. I watched all her interview during venky era and this is the best. I think everyone asking her same question. He did good job. I sense that Kajol also liked it. Big fan of Kajol. I’m driving two hours to see this movie. Love her.
Ranveer was something else in this episode. I mean how can someone be in such a tough situation and still handle the situation in the way Ranveer did here. I mean if were in his place, I would have cried after just 10min or something. Great job Ranveer bhai❤️
ranveer got roasted by kajol and how! she called him out on the silly questions he asks..what do u mean by this? what do u mean by that? this is not a therapy session to be asked such questions. she schooled him properly when he was trying to show off that only digital industry has access to consumer data. also all interviews cannot have same tone, like do u meditate? do u believe in spirituality or darkness etc. interview format should change as per personality of the guest.
I feel ranveer enjoyed this one particular way more than any other. He was just laughing his heart out. It was so pleasing seeing you like this being more joyful. Loved the whole podcast. Cheers. 🥰
May be you are right.....but i also felt he had those awkward laughs , when Kajol came too strong on certain topics..... Kajol is a very different person in person.....that's what I felt after the podcast..... feels like my whole life was a lie(about her ).....
Such a raw podcast, i’m rewatching it again, thank you for the subs and translation by the way, i’m not indian. looking forward to watch Kajol on the podcast again 🙂 she’s indeed radiant, and brings life and energy ✨
The whole charm of your podcasts is that we get to know something, it changes our life one bit at a time. That's your differentiation. Making it a regular film promo chat show took all the essence out of it for me. I have always been a big fan of her but unfortunately there was some eerie sense of disrespect towards this medium but you kept your humility and handled it so well, so kudos!
She is so loud n arrogant . She puts so much effort to explain really simple stuff . She says something very complicated n fails to explains what she actually means . Ranveer is really smart, patient, engaging n poised for his age .
Kajol was amazing as always! ❤ Taking a minute to actually appreciate Ranveer for the way he held through the entire podcast! Takes immense strength of personality and character ! 🌟✨ Loved the episode!
You are an inspiration for all the youths of India. I'm 18 and have learnt soo soo soo much watching your podcasts ! Love you from the depth of my heart. Thank you for BEING YOU ❤️
I am not a fan of social media or RU-vid, but the versatility you bring in your show has glued me to your episodes. Hope you continue this fine work. The more one converses with wise people more one learns, conversation plays a vital role in shaping one's personality. Learning different perspectives be they positive or negative, real or reel, even historical or philosophical always gives you something to ponder. Hope to meet you someday in person and learn about your experience conversing with such dignified and wise people and how they shaped you and your personality.
Hi Ranveer. Even though it wasn’t an easy conversation it was still pretty fun to watch and enlightening to hear Kajols views. She’s always maintained that she doesn’t like to be around people so great job keeping her glued to a good quality conversation spanning an hour 👏🏼
She was , is and will always be an icon. There is no pretentiousness about her. She calls a spade a spade. She’s always remained relevant and in my personal opinion that is her USP.
I thought Kajol was grounded, humble, intelligent, and hilarious. You guys are overthinking it. She seemed honest and straight forward. She doesn’t need to make herself smaller for someone else’s image.
I finished watching this gorgeous kajol podcast and I immediately went and saw ajay devgans podcast.. OMG... both of them roasted ranveer in different ways.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 kajol made him laugh like no one else... and ranveer worked so hard and scared to pull out words from the tiger, ajay devgan.. OMG.. what a personality he is... I want him to talk about my shiva, a lot and definitions of life, skills, situations from his prospective.. both are super stars... i felt my favourite kajol in this podcast is like the heroine of kabhi kushi kabhi gham.. 🤣🤣 great respect for both of them... ranveer is so lucky and hard working to get these opportunities to talk to different kind of people's.. blessings to ranveer from many souls... its so nice to see you laughing like a kid..
I think one should always welcome how the other person is and change their personality accordingly. It only makes them more approachable, admirable & easy to talk to. Ranveer always wins in this game. Kajol seemed too fussy, but Ranveer handled it super well.
Ranveer - you gotta stop saying …dil se ek sawaal. With every celebrity you use the same tactic … does not look real. Not a big kajol fan but she killed this interview. I loved it 👏🏻👏🏻 She was right on to some of your absurd questions
I love Kajol even more after this. She sensed his energy, crossed her arms, and then called him out gently several times. She danced around the interviewer’s life inexperience and starstruck awe with finese. I feel that most Indians are intimidated by an opinionated (intelligent) woman.
Don't make this into a man woman issue where the woman is opinionated and the man is scared. She knows her privilege and is EXTREMELY SPOILT AND ARROGANT.
@@parittramandal2797 couldn't agree more. Exactly my thoughts. I wonder how these people praising her are so blind She's come to his house and is disrespecting him throughout. I was happy he called her out in Kareena's episode and said she was difficult to have conversation with 😅
Ranveer tried to create a conversation that this podcast is known for but kajol kept deviating.. Maybe she doesn't know what this show is all about. But, overall a fun conversation. She is real.
@@surjalikadeb2829 ranveer was pathetic! he went on and on about his meditation like it was some shield he was desperately hanging on to and she ripped through him. anyways, serves him right. He i mostly a pompous ass. good he got it back!
Kajol is so amazing at being her true authentic self. She doesn’t care how she comes off & is being genuine through out. Love her pulling his leg about inviting her to her home & not even offering one samosa 😂 I would love to be with her on set & learn from her.
She's like sitting there and thinking in her head, like it's beneath her to be here. Lots of love Ranveer. Your struggle to keep up with Kajol was literally visible and that was what made this podcast so very interesting!!You are awesome and we all love each and every content you provide us with :)
Hey Buddy can you make podcasts about the following Indian Legends 1. Adi Shankaracharya 2. Gautam Buddha 3. Mahavir Swamy Jain 4. Ashoka the Great 5. Guru Gobind Singh 6. Swami Vivekananda 7. Bodhi Dharma: He spread Martial Arts to China 8. Rani Rudramma Devi: How she is the Best women Warrior of India 9. Bodisena: Spread Buddhism to Japan and it is still followed highly there 9. Guru Nanak: Founder of Sikhism 10. Sikh Gurus 11. Maharaja Ranjit Singh 12. Chatrapathi Shambaji Maharaj 13. Maratha Peshwas 14. Sant Tulsi Das
Ranveer, dude. I think you need stop telling the guest that you are trying to break the ice or that you’re trying to get them to open up. It puts them in the spot and it may make them feel like they’re not doing a good enough job of answering your questions. I wonder if their PR people give them a concrete brief of how they need to be during a podcast like yours. Kajol was amazing as always. You were nervous because you were trying super hard to get her to go into the direction you wanted it to go. It needs to be free flowing for both you and the guest as well.
I think Kajol did not want her personality to be judged based on a one hour podcast so she guarded it very well and did not let Ranveer get inside her head. But somewhere I feel she is spiritually evolved (knowingly or unknowingly) like the kung-fu panda 🐼
"Individuality dying out" thank god someone said it "social media has killed superstars, waiting n effort nahin hai, instant gratification available hai, toh magic mystery hi nahin hai" .... I loved how listening to her I remembered how things were so cool n slow n relaxed in the 90s... And everything is not data-driven ranveer, data will tell you the situation, it will not tell you how n when n why it will change, because it's as random as human emotions
Individuality sure is dead. When you put your teenage daughter under the knife so that she fits into bollywood mould - BOTOXed, plastic and bleached 50 shades lighter!!!
Who agrees with me that Ranveer bhai is the best person to look up to when you are upset, not feeling the best, or overwhelmed? he's always so positive and comical, which always puts a smile on my face even if I'm not feeling the best :)) we always love ❤️ you Ranveer.
