Barney night before Christmas was my favorite growing up. I still have all my vhs tapes and we have one VCR that still works. My toddler loves to watch them all now ❤️ My husband and I were both BIG Barney fanatics as kids. Now our daughter is too ❤️

I remember working with her during Barney Camp and how disciplined, smart, and fun she was, so I asked to have her assigned to a home video I directed, CAMP WANNARUNAROUND, which turned out to be her first show. I am so glad to see she is doing well and has fond memories of the show.

I was obsessed with Barney ever since I was a toddler until 1st grade when I got focused into comics.I did have a crush on her in kindergarten.

By the time Marissa got on Barney and Friends, I was already well more than old enough to where I was no longer really watching. Yet, I thought she was the cutest little thing ever. First of all, she has grown into a beautiful, gorgeous young woman. Second of all, she has taken things that she's been passionate about ever since she was a little girl and with those things she's given back to her community and inspired hundreds even thousands of young kids including her own.

Oh I love her. I'm so glad Marisa seems like such a warm, wonderful individual. Growing up, I think Night before Christmas was one of my favourite movies and I loved Hannah so much in that (maybe cause we had the same name? 😅😁) and the whole show just always made me feel really warm and safe and happy and kinda feel like the world had no limits you know? :) I still watch Night before Christmas every Christmas lol...and I'm 22! 😂😄

I kinda wish she had stuck around for some of the Season 6 home videos from 2000-2002.

she was part of the cast of the last seasons I watched of Barney as a kid ( I was growing out of it ) and I always thought she looked a lot like Topanga from Boy Meets World ( the first season when the main cast were kids ) when her hair was straightened. I use to watch both around the same time, I think ABC Family was playing reruns. Been kinda going down a rabbit hole of Barney videos and came across this channel/podcast. this is great, just finished watching the Bob West and "Michael" interviews and now here. I find the behind the scenes stories so fascinating, having grown up with Barney and the backyard gang and Barney and friends. my favorite thing about Barney were the songs, I loved singing along and performing along with the kids in the show and Barney lol.

Now I remember, the one who had allergies. She was so sweet and made the transition easier for me and my brother to watch.

This is fantastic. Here's my Barney story when it comes to Marisa as she was/still is one of my ultimate favorite characters/cast members - this will be a Super-Dee-Dooper long paragraph but well worth the read: I was the biggest Barney stan as a kid as I had Camp WannaRunnaRound on VHS and it was and still is my ultimate favorite Episode in the entire Barney Franchise. I was so obsessed that constantly kept rewinding, fast-forwarding, starting and stopping on my favorite parts instead of watching in it's entirety + to go with it, I had a HUGE imagination about countries like Egypt and a make believe city in China I made up called "Booty, China" (that's how silly I was) and come Sunday October 5th, 2003 before a NASCAR Race at Kansas Speedway, they were all put together to form my greatest dream in my 25 years of life: Saving Egypt aka "The Egypt Dream" where Marisa and her 3 Barney castmates (as kids to make things more fun) from the Episode teamed up with a then 9-year old me on top of a cliff to fight bad guys who wanted to take over the country which was above a mini-parking lot where my mom, dad and sister were sitting in their cars waiting for me to finish my fight with my 4 friends and of course we won, saved the country, had a Pizza Party with my dad to celebrate, played some Arcade Games in a mini tunnel that was on the cliff and once we were done, we jumped off the cliff to get into the parking lot since there was no safe way of getting down but thankfully no one was hurt. Marisa and the other 3 met my family, we said our Goodbyes, went our separate ways and when that #BarneyMagic transported me back home, I heard Roberta Flack and Peabo Bryson's 80s Love Song "Tonight, I Celebrate My Love" only to wake up hours before the race to find out it was playing on the radio through a Jazz Channel I loved while I was living in Michigan at that time. Now here I am in 2019 where I recently re-discovered the Barney Magic of Love after imagining never doing so again and it's paid off handsomely as I've developed friendships with my childhood Barney heroes on Social Media + I got to speak with Marisa herself on the phone at her current Dance Studio to inform her of some Fan Mail I sent to her over the Holidays as my Christmas Present + introduce myself as a fan of Barney and Hannah and sadly, I don't think she received the stuff I sent her due to the horrific winter conditions I had this past year in my area (Northeast Ohio). So happy to see she's doing well and I can't wait for more of my childhood Barney heroes on this AMAZING Podcast you guys got. Blessings to each and every one of you! I love you, you love me! 💜💚
