The Scripture you were thinking of from 1 Corinthians where you said "I planted, Apollos watered..." is 1 Cor 3:5--not chapter 1 of 1 Cor. I know it is 2 years too late--and you probably realized the 'misteak' by now---but I thought I would help folks who might have tried to look up that Scripture---like I did. :) I must mention--that I think God has truly gifted you as a teacher. I am forever indebted to you because of how enriched you had made my life through your teachings of His word!
A key verse is where Paul asked the disciples, " Have you recieved the Holy Spirit since you believd ? If all believers recieve the Holy Spirit when they believed then Paul didn't know what he was talking about.
Talking about the baptism “order”.... should you first be baptized with water (Johns baptism of repentance) and then with the Holy Spirit baptism? If that’s not necessary, do you need John’s baptism at all? And is there anything wrong with doing it the other way (like I did. I received the Holy Spirit and then later was baptized with water). And if the baptism of water is unnecessary, is it merely symbolic like the vow Paul took when shaving his head?
