Wow! I did not know that others did miracles other than jesus. That just shows how much God's power is and can be given to any of his children who love him and tell him that they love him.

I study all day and I've been following you since I was a child I trust your opinion as you have revealed many things of the Bible to me I really need help in this area acts doesn't finish in amen. Paul was given a task by Jesus to go in and speak to the lost tribes. Once I read chapter 29 it seemed like a perfect continuation finished with an amen but I can see why it would've been hidden by the church when do you think the book of acts should be finished at chapter 18 like some bibles 28 like my Scofield reference Bible or should we add the 29th chapter as it has been discovered as an ancient sonnini scrolls

ACTS 2.38 Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christfor the remission of sins, and he shall receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT……….❤️⚔️🇨🇦⚔️❤️some are chosen before the foundations of the world Eph,1.4 they have NO FREE WILL.

Will someone please answer my question? I ran in to a lady at the gas station that said read acts 2:38 if you weren't baptized in the name of Jesus your not going to heaven. In other parts of the Bible it says to be baptized in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. Would that not be the same as in the name of Jesus?

Jesus Christ is the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The apostles did not repeat the Lord's command in Matthew 28:19, but rather obeyed it. They understood the one, singular Name the Lord meant was His own. Thus, all New Testament baptisms were performed in the only saving Name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:46; 19:5; Acts 4:12; Colossians 3:17). The fulness of the Godhead is in Jesus Christ (Col. 2:9). Baptism is necessary for salvation (Mark 16:16; I Peter 3:21), and must be performed in His name to gain the remission of sins. We are saved by His blood, and the blood is applied through His Name. Anyone baptized other than in the name of Jesus Christ must be re-baptized in His Name to gain the benefit of His sacrifice. The old saying is, "Why wait? Obey Acts 2:38!"
