It's interesting to see people who are into rock wishing that the drop in Boca was harder, while those who aren't into rock get thrown off by the drop lol. That's the risk of making unique music, and that's why I respect them so much. The diversity in their discography really shows their talent. Thank you for your honest reaction, I loved it! I recommend their Raid of Dream special mini-album. It's got both my favorite title track and b-side.

Yeah I think Boca is such a phenomenon. In general it is a grower I think. But it shows so good that Dreamcatcher isn't fully rock and not fully pop. You really have to balance out your music with such a fandom but for me that only shows how good their music is. Bc for people that aren't into rock / pop that much to also like the more rock / pop songs, you have to create such bops that the people just have to listen to it (I explained it very difficult, sorry, but as a pop rock fan myself I totally get you😂)
I was amazed by their performance of Break the Wall during for their comeback showcase coz they actually used megaphones to still have that muffled effect as the studio version.
DEAR is composed and written by Dreamcatcher's leader JiU. JiU said that it was composed around 2 years ago. This song is about how Dreamcatcher's members feel about their fans Insomnia. She got the inspiration when she was doing the fansign event and fan meeting. It means a lot for both DC and Insomnia. P.s I almost cried when I read the lyrics first time
We actually know how long she worked on it, because she previewed part of it ages ago on an episode of Run.WAV. She didn't say at the time, what it was, just a song she was writing, but it was Dear...
11:16 - "Now y'all tell me, obviously, Dami sings as well, but I can't really distinguish her singing voice yet." She says during Dami's part! XDDDD What's cool about Dear is that Dreamcatcher's Leader, Jiu, fully wrote the lyrics and was the main composer of the song! She said it's her personal message to InSomnias. ^_^

I don't know if anyone said so in these comments but considering I didn't see anyone, Boca means mouth in Spanish and is the 2nd part of a 3 part series with scream being part 1. It's basically talking about people being negative/haters with a line literally telling people to shut their Boca's 😅 also Dear was written, composed and produced by Jiu and is a song for and directed at Insomnias 😊 anyway thanks for reacting!

They continue the storyline but this time they warn people that words that coming out of their mouth could hurt other, and it's bad. BREAK THE WALL- It's a hopeful song, remind me of Linkin Park. Song that drive you to stand up and fight. I quote from the lyric "on top of the world, leave a deep footprint, shout to a higher place" inspirational 👍🏻 CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY MIND - This song giving me like Zedd type of song or a summer song back in the day. Mostly played in a club. Jumping, hyping around to the music. Nothing more about love and relationships ❤️ DEAR - Exclusively for InSomnia from our Charismatic Bunny Leader, Jiu. Thank you for your reaction! If possible, try watching a lyric video or read the lyrics while listening to Dear and Break The Wall, they hit different when you know what the lyrics are. Also putting in a request for a Raid of Dream album reaction because it's a masterpiece of an album second only to Dystopia: The Tree of Language for me.

Dreamcatcher's Raid of Dream is pretty good. If you are looking for girl groups with diverse tracks in their discography, you can't really go wrong with Dreamcatcher, LOONA and Red Velvet. A lot of fans of these 3 groups seem to overlap.
i would say if you don't really like rock i don't think dreamcatcher is the group for you they try a lot of different genres in their bsides but rock is their main genre and what they are known for😭😭😭😭😭
Tbh I do really like Dreamcatcher! I respect them so much for standing out as much as they do, and compared to other girl groups they're right up my alley! It's not that I don't like the rock songs cause I do, but sometimes it just takes more than one listen to get used to it if you know what I mean 🤗 I really love that they out here doing rock music cause it's so different!
hahahaha I had a lot of fun when you realized that the song was all in English ... I recommend that you watch break the wall live. You will be surprised to see how they do to create the distortion of the voice.
lol I guess when you’re so used to hearing Korean in kpop songs you don’t notice the English lyrics even though the pronunciations are clear and DC has some of the best pronunciations. If you listen to CGYOOMM again you’ll notice that Dami uses a slight English/British accent when she speaks/sings in English which i found interesting considering that I don’t think she studied overseas and picked it up that way, she just prefers to speak it like that? Idk lol how is it?
Yeah that's the embarassing part... apparently I don't even recognise English when its played right in front of me 🙃🙃😂😂 but I loved it! And their pronunciation was super clear I'm just deaf 😬😬 I had no idea she had that kind of accent! That's so cool how shes picked up an accent like that!

Boca- introduction to Dreamcatcher. Then it only took me 4 other songs to become an Insomnia. Boca is in my top 5 of their titles. Can’t Get You out of my Mind and Break the Wall are in my top 10 b-sides with Break the wall being in the top 5. Jiu wrote Dear. Jiu, Dami, Yoohyeon and Siyeon have writing credits. High notes- Siyeon being Siyeon. I need more album tracks that are English.

Hahahah she has like a million voices 🤣 Also when you said, "I can't distinguish her singing voice just yet!" she was singing the whole ass verse 🤭 She has one of the widest ranges in the group, along with Sua in my opinion. (Siyeon is already a given)

When the Special Clip for ...And There Was No-one Left dropped, everyone was stunned to realise that she was the one opening the song. For about the first half-dozen times I listened to Jazz Bar (this was before I'd had a chance to catch the showcase), I thought Gahyeon sang the bridge... Dami can be a very surprising vocalist...

The way I feel about the album: It has some of my favorite songs from them, but it’s probably my third or fourth favorite album by them. The intro slaps as always. I love the plot twists. I absolutely loved Boca. I wouldn’t change anything because it’s a fantastic song. Even with the less popular use of moombahton, they made it sound great. Break The Wall sounded amazing even though I would have liked them to use less distortion (the effect was cool, but there was too much of it). Regarding Can’t Get You Out of My Mind, it’s a very pleasant and calming song for me. I liked it even though I expected LEEZ and Ollounder to do a more unexpected drop rather than a generic one. Regarding Dear, I’m not a fan of ballads, so it’s hard for me to determine its quality. The song didn’t particularly move me, but JiU had a big hand in this and I think she did well.

It's okay i can't feel that chorus from Boca either, for me it's just a electric guitar exaggerating right there without any rock spirit and soul, but the rest of the song is great, as a metalhead I would say Break The Wall is way more better, it might be their best rock songs imo. I recommend Raid of Dream as your next DC album to listen.
