Ive been teaching ESL online for 10 years now and I have met and seen a lot of online tutors but I can say that you and teacher Jha of acadsoc are gifted and blessed by God - good pronunciation and accent, phasing is excellent, good conversational skills, etc. Some teachers are effectively following the lesson proper but not all are spontaneous! The tone and the quality of your voice are your advantage. It's pleasing to the ears and does not sound loud. If I were your student, I would book your lesson slots everyday because I think your classes are relaxing. I hope you always remember and thank God for your talents. Many tutors want to have a lot of loyal students and be popular to earn big. Be safe! God bless.

@@TeacherMariePh kung sa dashboard nagaappear na sya ng 4 and sa student's end is hindi pa. SB lang ng SB para ma pataas.. Lowest ko naging rate is 4.81. Like from 4.96 naging ganun kasi may 2 star😂pero SB padin.. Yun nakabawi naman.
I passed the EPT teach 3 days ago but I did not proceed yet sa system check kasi wala pa akong noise cancelling headset. Mawawala ba yung application ko? ilang days lang sya valid po?
My first class is coming up in about an hour. I have a free talk class. The parent gave me a google slides link. When I click on it, it puts it on my computer in a separate tab. How will the student be able to see this if it isn't on the native camp page? Where are the camera pictures of me and the student? Are they on the side where it is currently standby?

No, that is for your temporary introduction video ☺️ you can change it if you want. The next time you click on retake demo you will just have to tell them that you are ready to recite your intro video. Congratulations 👏

The biggest part of your screen is the textbook with the lesson your student has chosen , on your right side there's your students cam and your own cam and under those there's a chat box. You and your student have pretty much exact same looking screen except on your screen in your textbook you have answers and explanations and some guidelines for conducting your class. There's a timer in the top part of your screen that starts once the student enters your class. If you follow all the steps for becoming a teacher you will eventually be introduced to all of this and you'll get all the instructions you need. There are recorded lesson examples that you get access to in the process. Just take your time and you'll get there :D
