I really enjoy these videos, letting people know that what you see online isn't always what you get, your version so so many leagues above the Husk knife they're not even comparable, nice work!

Knives like that remind me of the old saying "most fishing lures are meant to catch fisherman more than fish." You're finished recreation was pretty sweet though. Seemed like a decent herb chopper.

I have bought so many pretty, pretty lures over the years. The last expensive set I impulse-bought looked so beautifully realistic I believed no fish could tell they were artificial, no fish could resist… only to catch nothing while watching the guy next to me pull in several with an ugly chunk of orange rubber that looked vaguely like a crayfish if you squinted really hard, and smelled like a squishy eraser I had when I was a in second grade. Mother Nature can be a cruel mistress.

I dig your work here. As a guy who uses kitchen knives a lot, I don't think three anything anyone could have to make that design optimal for kitchen use, it's a bad design top to bottom. You came as close as anyone could I think of turning into a functional blade. Bravo. It AMAZES me how many kitchen knives are sold on bogus visuals, shoddy information, and just general bunk every year. Imagine if we did this for cars, like next year the new Huusk Cube Japacar Madagascar Slaying Car went up for sale with square wheels and egg carton foam body panels. That industry is explosively unregulated.

Better suited as a thrower with those proportions and weight. And you needn't worry about the edge retention either, just give it a touch of grinding on the spine for a false bevel, and start chucking.

Yep I was scammed big time with this huusk knife😔 When I ordered one I was billed for four and sent four even though I emailed and made complaints, they waited until after postage to acknowledge my complaint, then sent reply saying I could give the extra ones to family or friends as they are very limited stock, no apologies or anything, then went on to say I could return them at my expense for refund but never gave any address or instructions as to how to even find and address. When the knives were delivered they were very disappointing indeed, heavey, and the metal seem soft to me not sturdy, they also feel clumbsy to handle. I believe this Huusk Japan company to be less than genuine in my opinion and have told them so but still was given no way of returning the mistaken order they made without a big postage expense of my own. Don't buy these knives or you'll regret it like I did.

I actually work as a kitchen assistant and I really like 5-6 inches knifes for all-purpose cutting(something that I do almost all the time...) . Also for me more than overall weigh, balance is more important, i used knife with that type of handle but without hole and it was really good. Of course I use like 10 different knfies but one that I use all the time is 5-6 one made from old Bucher knife that I just modified to be slimmer and if I would break it I would actually consider that style of knife... Unless steel would be crap as that one you bought... If I would have more time and experience I would make it my self but I'm still noob at knife making and stuck with smaller knifes that are more for show than work...

Wonderful video! Well, someone in my country is also badly trying to promote this as "the internet named this the kitchen katana". Lol! Glad to see an actual review. I guesstimated it's: 1. China made and 2. Worthless as a "meat-knife" as the add said ("but also perfect for any other kitchen use, of course"). As a herbal chopper, well, it may work, as you demonstrated but I'm sure there are better designs. Kinda reminds me of all the Mitutoyo indicator replicas on ebay (usually branded "Mitutogo")...
