This is very close to what I have been looking for. I just wish I would swap out my entire review mirror so it looks more factory like the rear view mirrors in the Cadillac escalade
Autovox pro is what your looking for. Factory OEM style. The only issue I had was the camera was on the right side and there is bump on my right side on my windshield.
@@Meeeeee900 I'm looking for what's offered on Cadillacs and GMC vehicles the full mirror can switch between a regular mirror or full lcd screen and I have a solution as to where the rear view camera would go. Buy a shark fin and attach that the the center rear part of the roof of the car and have the camera installed in that. The rear view mirror would stream all the time live footage instead of looking through the interior of the car ZERO obstructions
Awesome review! Just installed one today on my Toyota Fortuner. So clear and bright, love it! Two questions though: 👉👉 can I put my 64GB memory card on this XR10 dashcam? And second, my ADAS constantly beeps even if Im not changing lanes lol. Why is that?
What is the component that appears hanging below the mirror at 7:52, the Installation segment? It disappears at 11:30, the Daytime Screen View segment, only to reappear at 14:52? It isn't included at the beginning when you unbox the dash cam and its accessories.
Where is this product made? High Endurance or normal SD? . I live in Scandinavia where temp can be -30 celcius. Can this be left in the car over night? I plan taking this to Africa during summer vacation. Can I use this in the hot African sun of 35- to 42 degrees celcius?
what does the blinking yellow light mean? Also, I read in the instructions that the parking sensor won't work unless you use the cig plug adapter? I bought the wiring kit and it's hooked to access. and not sure what makes that different than a cig plug as most are not hot all the time anyway
My Toyota sequoia 2008 5.7l v8 SR5 is not with me and I have no way of knowing the dimensions of the interior rear mirror.I live in a different country now. I want to buy an ACUMEN dash cam but wondering if it will fit the OE interior mirror - when placed on it will it fit? How long is the rear camera cable ? My sequoia is 209" I will install the rear camera inside the truck by the rear mirror
Just got my Acumen Xr10 Excellent review. I have a few questions. In the menu settings of the Acumen Xr10 go find the option "Flicker 50/60" what does Flicker mean? What does Time Zone settings mean? Its in GMT? I live in CST Central Standard Time area code 64801 here in the U.S. I never heard of GMT time zones? I purchased a Samsung High Endurance Pro 64 mb Micro SD card, about how long will it hold recordings before being re-written over? Do you think I need a 128 gb card for this camera running on 1296P? Running firmware SX-9.66-EN2053V01-TS20191024
If you happen to come across an external front facing camera so that I can actually see what's in front of me down low. The ground effects on my Lincoln MKZ are really low I have to be really careful on my approach into some driveways and parking lots
same problem here. There are wireless cameras that mount on the license plate for a true front view. Brand name is Type S. Sorry to say I was less than impressed.
Do you have to connect the back camera to the reverse light wire to access the reverse features? ... Or is there a way to access them manually without the connection?
I purchased mine 5 weeks ago. It is a great camera. BUT in the 5 weeks it has been up an running in my car, just this morning, while driving, I watched as it changed the correct time, to 2047, Jan 1. I reset it to the correct time, and withing 5 seconds it went back to the 2047, Jan 1. I reset it again and it went back to the 2047 date again. I formatted the SD card, then reset to the correct time again. When I switched back to the home setting, it immediately went back to the 2047 date. Trying to find the manufacturers address, phone #, or web site address. I bought it through Amazon, not getting anywhere with a good answer. They say I didn't make a purchase in 2020. My credit card says I did, on Jan 18th. Can anyone offer some help. Thanks
You can see plate numbers in daytime video. At night, the headlight reflection off the plate makes it a glowing white rectangle. This is typical of most dashcams unless the lens is fitted with a polarizer filter (like the Thinkware U1000 I recently reviewed)
You will need to wire a female cigarette lighter socket to an ignition 12V power in your fuse box. Then plug the dashcam power plug to it. You need to know some basic wiring and using a multimeter. The plug is something like this amzn.to/347f4BG
