Hey y’all. Just completed spark plug change on my 2016 MDX. Hardest part was the clips. Easier to push up the rubber boot on the clip to gain access to the tab. Makes it so much easier. Also, no need to remove radiator cover. Best of luck!
Thank you for this. Just did the replacement on my 2014 MDX at 103k miles. The only problem I had were those darn clips. By the time, I got to the 4th one, my thumb was hurting bad pushing on them. Figured out I could use my 3/8" adapter as a wider spacer for my thumb to push down on top of the clip. And you need to hear the audible click. It was easier for me to unplug the socket before removing the 10mm screws. Butt dyno noticed no difference in performance. Absolutely no reason to do this before 100k miles. Original spark plugs looked fine in my now 10 year vehicle.
Thank you for making this great Video! I have a 2017 Acura MDX with ZF transmission with 74K miles. I'm thinking of replacing the spark plugs at around 100K miles. How many miles did the 2016 MDX had when you replaced them?
