acura type s oil pan gasket replacement 

Okay I know you posted this video a while ago very good information for somebody that doesn't know how to do it although the last bit when you actually put the oil pan on you're only supposed to hand tighten all 10 mm bolts with silicone weight 1 hour tell the silicone is tacky then you torque the bolts down literally says it in the description on the back of your Silicone bottle also says it on all them silicones you can buy at O'Reilly's Auto Zone Walmart

does loosening the subframe like this affect your alignment? I am planning to do this job soon, thanks in advance!

Were all the 18 10mm bolts the same length? I read somewhere that a couple are longer

Hey man, Ik this video is from a while ago, but do you know if the ‘02 RSX (base) has a silicone or gasket piece? I took mine to a shop to be looked at and they said it was the oil pan gasket but I talked to a friend who said there should just be silicone that I need to replace(cars leaking oil pretty bad)

I don't have access to power tools and it seems you prefer to use the sealant but for me there's nothing wrong with using a regular gasket in between right? (I bought a generic oil pan gasket made by Apex beforehand)

Would you agree this is when you change your water pump if its leaking as well??
