I ate fungis when younger. In the middle of my travel i saw a shape manifest infront of me. Large, broad, antlers like an elk, tusk, with black holes for it eyes and mouth. This figure was shrouded from head to toe in pelt of all forrest animals. These pelt moved and swirled for they were not pelts of the dead but living moving around him. Rabbit, fox, wolf, bear, mouse, elk, deer, squirrel all spring brown. I watched with my mouth open eyes in wonder as he stood only for a second before leaning down over me. I looked into the dark vastness that were his eyes. A low growl came from him he slowly asked in this low rumble, "Do you respect the land", i heard a voice that was mine escape my body without effort, without purpose, I respond "Of course". He stood up straight and with the same low growl he responded with, "This is true". He disappeared leaving me with confusion and questions. Who was this spirit that came to me, what was his purpose.
