To intensify its marketing effort the Board through its advertising agency Young and Rubicam used the “old ‘Come Back to Jamaica’ theme” to create an advertising campaign which focused on both “the visitor and the product.” Television commercials highlighted Jamaica as a destination for romance, excitement and self-discovery.
