An 11-year-old ‘diva' has become an Internet superstar and built up a vast following on social media - despite suffering from a super-rare ageing condition. Adalia Rose, from Austin, Texas, has racked up nearly 170 million views on RU-vid and more than 13 million likes on Facebook with her hilarious videos showcasing her infectious personality. But Adalia has Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome - a genetic condition characterised by the signs of accelerated ageing, which affects less than 500 people worldwide. In additional to premature ageing, other symptoms include dwarfism, lack of body fat and muscle, loss of hair, visible veins, a high pitched voice and stiffness in joints. She is the most genuine, honest ten year old ever. Nobody would EVER admit they played with barbies or loved unicorns. She was such a funny and kind soul. I just hope she knows she was adored by many and is loved by more than her family, but all of us.

I feel so bad for this little girl....she's so happy, and does her best to be herself. No matter how she is. She loves herself, she's very beautiful, brave, she's goofy. I love how she is. She's very inspirational and I wish I could meet her, get to know her. Maybe become her friend. She seems like such a nice little girl. I feel bad, but, I'm proud of how courageous she is. “Pretty” is a relative term. It’s just STUPID to try to claim she’s pretty. If people were being genuine, they’d instead say that physical beauty doesn’t matter, not that she possesses physical beauty. I’m fond of the girl, but just stop insisting she’s pretty, you’re admitting that meeting the standards of beauty is meaningful. She’s not “pretty” and her life has every bit as much value as any other child, and THAT is what her parents emphasize with every single thing they’ve ever submitted to the Internet.
