Adam and Joe definitely pre-cursored the internet age - filming a show in their bedroom without any hint of irony in the 90's. Trailblazers! And thank god they did get the wider exposure before we had 8 million channels and another 8 millions social media platforms to dilute everything.
I had it in my head for ages a couple of weeks ago, but I couldn't remember what it was or any of the lyrics - just the 'ooo-oooh' and 'aahh-ahhhh' bits. Randomly decided to watch Adam and Joe yesterday on 4OD - Mystery Revealed! Fantastic.
This series probably couldn't be broadcast anymore. Defo in Scotland..... Because certain people may be offended.. I cannot think of anything truly funny, that would be considered for production these days.... There's only, Pre 2000. Post 2000.
Their show was super influential. In comedy in the early 00s especially, you could see it. I would never have known about it at all had I not been an insomniac in high school, Cos it was played super late on Channel 4. I feel like if it had had the time slot of stuff like the mighty boosh (another show you can see a lot of Adam and Joe’s comedy style in), it would have been huge.

@adamjj666 Not for a while I'm afraid. Joe's still too busy being a director and all that. Still, there's always Adam's Big Mixtape every sunday on 6music. Not the same, but still rather good.
@eldospinks The quality of channel 4 shows is definitely in decline, but they do still have some damn good shows from time to time. Still easily takes the crown of the 5 terrestrial channels imo though.
