Beautiful looking man he can wear anything and look fantastic. He is also intelligent, compassionate and humble it seems in all his interviews. He is a gem of a human being.
Adam Ant is a smart, thoughtful and fairly modest man -- he is down-to-earth and insightful and whatever project he undertakes, he wants to do it as well as possible.
yeah he still looks bloody great, I saw him live a few months ago, was quite close to the front and was quite amazed by how good he looked...shook me up a bit
It must've sucked to keep being asked in interview after interview, "so where have you been" or something like that. The man had tremendous success and number 1 records. if he'd never recorded another song after 1985, he would have left a lifetime's legacy and deserved more respect than that type of question.
Knowing hê had some kind of anxiety hê sold himself really really well in these interviews andnever sold himself to the gallery. Clever articulate bloke... True artist
He is a beautiful Looking man and such a charming charismatic individual he created his own style like many other artists years ago Kate Bush Debbie Harry etc I saw him 10 years ago live he was amazing still is.
He is a great singer and a good actor too. Also beautiful with stunning eyes.I liked his music back in the 80s.I still like it today. He looked great in a suit.He looks great in all the outfits he wears.
When I was 12 I had his poster stuck on my bedroom door wearing his tin soldiers jacket with the white stripe across his nose, pure gorgeousness 🤩 I loved (and still regularly listen to) Dirk Wears White Sox but not keen on the ‘novelty’ choons phase I’m afraid! He’s a total legend nonetheless 😘
Good grief, he's an artist! Let him act, sing, or do whatever, why does he have to choose one or the other? This interviewer is a bit thick. Adam handled him with grace and dignity. Oh, and I can't comment on him without adding that he is quite possibly the most beautiful man who ever lived. Perfect use of makeup! Love the suit too. I like that he was willing to change things up. Like I said, artists don't need to be pigeon-holed.
+CR Construction I have anxiety, too. I think it's also part of what happened here. I sometimes feel like I'm about to pass out. He needed time to settle in, and he did eventually. Anxiety sucks
Articulate and genuine.Terry trying to challenge him a little.Interesting how much more real these shows used to be compared to the smarmy sell sell sell, that you get on chat shows now. This was recorded live.Much better.😊
He made my life god you could not see my bedroom walls for Adam he’s had freaking problems so do a freaking lot of people I don’t know how to say but I love you so much thank love you for all you have done and never ever change ❤xxx
I think he used makeup very well here and obviously during his performance. I think men especially young men, should be able to use makeup creatively without it being assumed they are f💄💄💄ck boys. Young boys and men should get the chance to enjoy making looks up just as women do. Artistic freedom for all.
I was an Ant Warrior and never lost sight of the fact Adam was very much the driving force post punk, and was central to the London punk scene with the likes of Siouxsie Sioux etc. He embraced video like nobody before him, his downfall was his obsessiveness and drive at a time when he probably didn’t fit the music kids wanted to hear by 1983 or 1984. Lovely guy much misunderstood, ahead of his time.
I loved the kings of the wild frontier" phase, the apache-buccaneer thing. Mnot being funny though, he lost it at the height if his fame. He'd worked so hard for years to become an " overnight sensation" " straight in at number one!". He was seriously short-sighted, and a bit beta, after the lights went out, and the make-up came off. Hope he is well though. Fond memories. x
OMGoodness he's gorgeous and so talented (plastic surgery ) one of my favourite songs . I also love, the lovely boy Johny Depp but think he copied Adams style which is the ultimate compliment and I'm sure Adam wouldn't mind and love to them both xxx
@@stefancice Hi he's from London not sure what part of London but if you Google Adam and the Ants you should be able to find all the info on there I hope that will help you Stefani all the best to you Thanks philip
@Philip Watkinson didn't see your response till now. Thanks (also I just want to clarify I didn't mean you should have been more specific I meant my original question)
