Absolutely come to Canada and check the prices we have to pay to watch sports. It's ridiculous. Only the super rich can attend, and we don't have teams from the lower leagues like they do in the uk

@shen_baba exactly, the most expensive Liverpool season tickets are under a grand lol. That's like 1 maybe 2 courtside tickets to an NBA game.

People are paying it, and teams have waiting lists. Simple. Sometimes in life, we have to accept that having something (or going to games) requires sacrifice elsewhere, or.... you simply can't go. I'm priced out, but I have to accept it.

if we dont pay for ours theres a waiting list of over 50k people for my club alone tottenham, my ticket will be snapped up by the next fan in a heartbeat, it will have no effect at all if people dont renew
@Beyond_Belief534
@Beyond_Belief534 2 месяца назад
If I don't renew at City, rather than a local fan, tourists will buy my seat and not sing when using it, they'll just video the games with their I pads in silence. But they'll spend 600 quid in the shop after the game where as I won't.

this is why a wage cap would help, my own premier league club wages 5 years ago 50k a week now 100k week, this problem is 100k a week player is now become normal price. thats bonkers. if they didnt pay one week salary too first team that would cover roughly 6 home games. again its players salary. the issue.

Man utd transfer policy is still shocking , now we are splashing cash on youngsters because the business model doesn't have becoming EPL champions as priority at all. Smh 🤦

Short term is what we’ve done for a decade.. you gotta actually rebuild at some point.. we went for 28+ players to win now.. didn’t win and got stuck with those players and they left for free.. going for youth and getting a good correct be successful in the future is the smart and only play
@hbos9709
@hbos9709 2 месяца назад
@AshBashSneakers lol BS , you don't want to win the league either . There are proven players under 26 who will be reaching their peak in 2 years , not gambling on 18 year olds of 70million when you can buy proven players for an extra 30m . Zirkee is basic asf and utd blown 60 million on him , another ETH Dutch boy . You are blind if you don't see how the club is being stripped of its assets by INEOS the same way the glazers have . Smh 🤦
@defecationzen
@defecationzen 2 месяца назад
@@hbos9709 because they have multiple holes all over the pitch and if they spend that extra 30m they will be compromised in other areas they absolutely need help in and that won't win the league either. the state their squad is in, they will need these incremental youth injections for several windows, keep those that pan out, sell those that stagnate for still some value, and then rinse and repeat. when they have a credible core, that's when you splash the cash for players approaching their prime to try to win. i don't think there's anything they can do this window to win. even if they spend their entire budget and then some to bring mbappe to the club they will still remain 8th if that's the only player coming in. mbappe can neither play right centreback nor defensive midfielder.
@hbos9709
@hbos9709 2 месяца назад
@defecationzen BS again mate , utd could cut losses and sell maguire , instead INEOS want to sack staff and pay over the odds for youngsters . The Utd youth team should fill the holes instead of persistently playing evans who is a championship CB now , the club could have given kambwalla a deal instead if sell him for peanuts . The mission from INEOS is hopefully qualify for any Europe, they could invest and win the league this year but the fans have been placated into mediocrity and tricked into believing that man utd shouldn't buy the best players I the world , master trickery from INEOS, and you swallow it with a smile .Smh 🤦
@defecationzen
@defecationzen 2 месяца назад
@@hbos9709 sure they still need to sell maguire and lindelof and casemiro and eriksen and mctominay. after you've sold them off you still need to replace them and i still won't buy any top player for 90m like you suggested. and yes they will need to edge their way into european competitions to get the money in order to spend to the rules in the following window. they don't need one or two mega stars at the state they are in now, they need an overhaul. and you don't overhaul with galacticos, at least no more. they are bringing the youths in otherwise you won't be hearing mainoo's nor garnacho's names. those that can't measure up will ship out. i don't really think kambwala has been good and he's had some injuries getting him out is not a bad idea.
